Description
The main brake hydraulic cylinder is designed to supply brake fluid to the working cylinder of the wheel, and subsequently create pressure in the hydraulic system. The scheme of the main brake hydraulic cylinder is shown in Figure 1. The crankcase contains a cylinder and a brake fluid reservoir. The hydraulic system is filled with brake fluid through a hole in the crankcase cover, which in turn is closed with a stopper. The last openings for communication with the atmosphere and a reflector with a grid to prevent splashing of liquid when the car is moving. When you press the brake pedal, the rod, which in turn is connected to the pedal, transmits the movement to the piston. The latter, moving, closes the bypass hole and creates pressure on the liquid, displacing it through the wheel cylinders. When the brake pedal is lowered, the pressure in the brake system decreases. Brake fluid under the action of the coupling springs of the brake pads, squeezing the hydraulic valve, returns to the brake master cylinder. The piston under the action of the spring returns to its original position, while the brake fluid does not have time to fill the entire working space
