The purpose of this course design is to calculate and analyze the operation of vane pumps in hydraulic systems under the specified parameters, as well as to calculate and design the vane pump.

Introduction

The purpose of the course work is to obtain basic skills for calculating hydraulic systems, as well as selecting and designing a pump according to given characteristics.

With the development of scientific and technological progress, hydraulic machines have become widespread in almost all sectors of the economy. This is facilitated by the fact that every year manufacturers offer hundreds of new pump models with improved characteristics compared to previous models. Due to the fact that it is impossible to develop a separate pumping unit for each individual application, the selection process and the method of application is very important. Depending on which pump is selected or designed, the correct operation of the entire system depends.
