1. Common part.
Working documentation of the automatic fire extinguishing installation of the business center building with a multifunctional trade and exhibition hall at the address: Moscow Region, Serpukhov, Jubilee Square, intersection of Voroshilov St. and John Reed St. was developed on the basis of the contract, technical assignment for design and in accordance with the requirements of NPB 11003, NPB 888222001 *, 84 * 84 *, SNNiP iP 2.044P P S 2.042.04SP P 2.0404SN1S1S1S185,
2. Characteristics of protected premises.
The business center (hereinafter - the complex) is a seven-story separate building of the II degree of fire resistance with a basement floor.
The Business Center includes:
- basement - ventilation chambers, heat unit, pump station, technical underground.
- 1st floor - lobby, security room, hall, cafeteria, dining room, administrative premises, lobby of trade and exhibition hall, utility and auxiliary rooms.
- 2nd floor - hall, administrative premises, trade and exhibition hall, utility and auxiliary rooms.
- 3rd floor - hall, administrative rooms, utility and auxiliary rooms.
- 4th floor - hall, administrative rooms, utility and auxiliary rooms.
- 5th floor - hall, administrative rooms, utility and auxiliary rooms.
- 6th floor - hall, administrative rooms, utility and auxiliary rooms.
- 7th floor - exhibition hall .
The height of the building of the educational building is 33 m. The building includes an atrium from the 1st floor to the 7th floor.
All rooms of the complex are heated, equipped with ventilation.
There are no explosive and aggressive substances and materials in the premises.
3. Main decisions made in the project.
Considering the scope and purpose of the complex, all rooms of the building are equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing plant, with the exception of: rooms with wet processes, ventilation chambers, pump rooms, boiler rooms, rooms for engineering equipment of the building, in which there are no combustible materials, staircases, as well as rooms for storing and preparing meat, fish, fruits, vegetables (in non-combustible packaging ).
The premises of the complex are assigned to the 1 group of premises according to the degree of fire risk, in accordance with the requirements of NPB 882001 *.
All rooms to be protected shall be equipped with sprinkler water-filled fire extinguishing plant. The irrigation intensity is accepted as not less than 0.08 l/( cm2).
All rooms of the complex are equipped with an internal fire water supply, the fire cranes of which are connected to the sprinkler plant pipelines. Fire cranes Du 50, equipped with barrels with a spray with a diameter of 16mm and a sleeve with a length of 20m, were accepted for installation.
Fire extinguishing unit operation time is 30 min.
Automatic deluge curtains in two lines are provided in the floor openings of the atrium.
The intensity of irrigation of atrium openings is 1 l/s per meter of curtain length. Curtain running time is 1 hour.
Curtain Management:
- automatic - at actuation of sprinkler unit and/or
automatic fire alarm installation;
- remote - from the fire station room.
Sprinkler sprinklers of socket type having diameter of outlet hole 12mm and actuation temperature 570C and deluge sprinklers of socket type having diameter of outlet hole 12mm are accepted for installation.
Sprinkler sprinklers are installed with a socket down, while the distance from the sprinkler socket to the floor plane should be from 0.08 to 0.40 m.
Automatic installation of water fire extinguishing of the complex consists of two sections.
Section N1 serves the sprinkler fire extinguishing plant with fire cranes of the business center premises and is controlled by the control unit with Du 100mm water signal valves of Grinnell company (AC valve 100.1).
Section N2 serves the deluge curtains of the business center premises and is controlled by the control unit with water signal valves DN 150mm of the company "Grinnell " (KPU VS 150.2).
To specify the ignition address, there is an installation of liquid flow indicators.
Liquid flow annunciators monitor:
RP 1.1 - premises of the 1st floor in the axes of AS; 16 ,
RP 1.2 - rooms of the 1st floor in the axes of AS; 610,
RP 1.3 - rooms of 2 floors in AS axes; 16,
RP 1.4 - rooms of 2 floors in AS axes; 610,
RP 1.5 - rooms of 3 floors,
RP 1.6 - rooms of 4 floors,
RP 1.7 - rooms of the 5th floor ,
RP 1.8 - rooms of the 6th floor ,
RP 1.9 - rooms of the 7th floor.
Floor-by-floor deluge curtains are controlled by electrically driven valves (electrically driven gates and solenoid valves). The signal for opening valves with electric drive is generated by the liquid flow indicator of the corresponding floor or zone. After the valves with the electric drive of the deluge curtains, the installation of a pressure switch is provided, which sends a signal about the operation of the deluge curtain (water passage).
Signals about fire, operation and state of automatic installation of water fire extinguishing are issued to the security room, where personnel are on duty around the clock.
4. Pump station
.
Water supply of the automatic fire-fighting plant is provided from the tank with an inviolable fire-fighting water reserve in the amount of at least 243m3. The recovery time of the emergency fire water reserve is 24 hours.
To ensure the operation of the automatic installation of water fire extinguishing, a booster pump station located in the basement of the complex is provided. Two groups of pumps are provided in the pump station: the first provides the operation of the sprinkler network with fire cranes, the second - the operation of deluge curtains.
In the pump station room there are:
- two pump units (operating and standby) of NK 80250230 brand with 55 kW electric motors of Grundfos company to ensure the operation of deluge curtains;
- jockey - CR110 pump with 0.55 kW electric motor of Grundfos company to create pressure in the pipelines of deluge curtains of the fire extinguishing unit, which provides operation of the control unit;
- two pump units (operating and standby) of CR 6432 grade with 15 kW electric motor of Grundfos company to provide operation of automatic fire extinguishing unit of the complex;
- jockey - CR110 pump with 0.55 kW electric motor of "Grundfos" company to create pressure in pipelines of fire extinguishing plant, which provides actuation of control units;
- control and start-up units;
- electrical control panels.
To connect the mobile fire fighting equipment to the automatic fire extinguishing plant in the pump station room, pipelines with connecting heads are provided, which are brought out from the side of the platform for access of at least two fire engines.
5. The principle of operation of the installation.
Before the fire, all pipelines of the fire extinguishing plant to sprinkler sprinklers and fire cranes are filled with water at a pressure of 0.38 MPa created by the jockey pump. Before the fire, all pipelines for installation of deluge curtains up to the solenoid valve and motor-operated gates are filled with water at a pressure of 0.38 MPa created by the jockey pump.
In case of fire and destruction of the sprinkler sprinkler lock, opening of the fire valve, solenoid valve or gate valves with electric drive, the pressure in the plant pipelines drops, the corresponding KPU water signal valves operate and pass water to the sprinklers and fire cranes.
In case of actuation of the water signal valve, pressure annunciators installed on the signal pipeline of the GSC send a signal about fire and operation of the fire extinguishing unit, to turn off ventilation, turn on smoke removal, etc.
When the unit is activated, the liquid flow indicator indicates the place of ignition and generates a pulse to open the solenoid valve or gate with electric drive corresponding to the floor. Pressure switch installed after valves with electric drive of deluge curtains generates signal about deluge curtain operation.
If the pressure in the plant pipelines drops to 0.33 MPa respectively, a leak signal is sent.
When pressure drops accordingly to 0.28 MPa, command pulse is generated for actuation of working fire pump.
At absence of working pumps to operating mode (pump of sprinkler unit 0.59 MPa and pump of deluge curtains 0.54 MPa) the electric contact pressure gauge installed on the pressure branch pipe of each working pump generates a signal for actuation of the corresponding standby pump .
6. Hydraulic calculation
Hydraulic calculation of the automatic water fire extinguishing unit was carried out according to the procedure set out in Annex 2 of NPB 882001 *.
Water flow rate for automatic fire extinguishing unit is determined by formula:
Q = I x S + 2 x q, where:
Q - water flow to extinguish the room of a certain group, l/s;
I - normative intensity of irrigation of the room of a certain group, l/( cm2);
S - standard area for calculation of water flow rate, m2;
2- normative quantity of internal fire water supply jets, pcs;
q - flow rate of one jet of internal fire water supply, l/s.
The design water flow rate for the automatic fire extinguishing unit was:
Q = 0.08 x 120 + 2 x 2.6 = 14.8 l/s (53.28 m3/h).
The dictating head of the most distant and highly located sprinkler sprinkler was 5.00m water.
The pressure under the test and start-up unit, ensuring the operation of the automatic fire extinguishing unit with the specified parameters, was determined to be 54.16 m water.
The installed fire pump CR 6432 with 15 kW electric motor at a flow rate of 14.8 l/s (53.28 m3/h) creates a pressure of 60 m water. Losses in the pressure pipeline of the pump station - 0.57m water. Loss in suction pipeline - 2.08m water
The head created by the pump under the test and start-up units was determined equal to:
60 – 2.08 - 0.57 = 57.35 m of water column.
Thus, the CR 6432 pump with a 15 kW electric motor accepted for installation will ensure the operation of the automatic fire extinguishing unit of the complex with the specified parameters.
The water flow rate for automatic installation of deluge curtains is determined by the formula :
Q = 1 x L, where:
Q - water flow rate for operation of deluge curtains, l/s;
1 - normative intensity of deluge irrigation, l/s by 1 m of irrigated length;
L - total length, equipped with automatic deluge curtains, m;
The estimated water flow rate for automatic installation of deluge curtains was:
Q = 60 x 1.0 = 60.0 l/s (216.00 m3/h).
The dictating head of the most remote and highly located deluge sprinkler was 5.50m water.
The pressure under the test and start-up unit, which ensures the operation of the automatic installation of curtains with the specified parameters, was determined to be 44.96 m water.
The installed NK 80250230 fire pump with 55 kW electric motor at 60.0 l/s (216.00 m3/h) creates a pressure of 56m water. Losses in the pressure pipeline of the pump station - 7.31m water. Loss in suction pipeline - 1.33 m water
The head created by the pump under the test and start-up unit was determined equal to:
56 – 7.31 - 1.33 = 47.36 m of water column.
Thus, the NK 80250230 pump with a 55 kW electric motor received for installation will provide operation of automatic deluge curtains of the complex with the specified parameters.
The emergency fire water supply in the tank ensures the operation of the sprinkler plant with fire cranes for 30 minutes. and operating the maximum automatic deluge for 1 hour and is 26.64 m3/h + 216 m3/h = 242.64 m3/h.
