The concept of preserving the monument, taking into account its technical condition and requirements for operation, was proposed in a historical and cultural examination carried out by the certified expert V.V. Poletaykin. (000 "ArchiMetrics" O2.2015) Features of the building (partial preservation with the loss of a holistic historical composition, wear and mycological damage to the main part of the structures and decoration, features of the frame structure and different levels of architectural value of its elements) in combination with the requirements that the building in operation should meet, the 8-point seismic level of the region, the requirements for comfort and equipment of a modern medical and sanatorium institution, determined the approach to its preservation (repair, restoration, adaptation for modern use). With regard to the main parts of the building, the following activities were proposed:

Staircases.

Strengthening and restoration without dismantling. Reinforcement of structures, cleaning and restoration of external and internal stucco decor without dismantling. Organization of access to the preserved parts of the historical rubble foundation. Preserved cast iron stairs and their fences are cleaned from paint and corrosion layers, treated with anticorrosive compositions, primed and covered with enamel paint.

The rest of the building.

Dismantling of stone basements and external stairs, repair and installation in place. Dismantling of existing structures and facade decor. Arrangement of new structural structures. Repair of facade faceplate in dismantled condition with replacement of defective parts and subsequent installation on new structures. Reconstruction by iconography of lost historical details of wooden decor. Reproduction of historical coloring. Construction of a new rafter system, preserving the existing dimensions, slopes and elevation of the roof skate, a new roof covering of the same type as the historical one.

The project provides for the dismantling of part of the building with preservation and strengthening with further restoration of staircases and their fences, followed by the reconstruction of new foundations and structures of the building with the installation of a renovated (in a removed state) facade faceplate and wooden decor with full red brick filling of the faceplate panels.

Work Site Organization

The construction site shall be fenced to avoid access by unauthorized persons. The building site fencing is the existing fencing of the territory and the newly installed temporary fencing, according to the plan on sheet No. 1.

The fence design shall meet the requirements of GOST 2340778.

To protect the liquidated building and the territory of the construction site from the penetration of people and animals, it is necessary to:

install certain places for workers to go to the place of work;

at the entrance to the disassembly site, place an announcement on the prohibition of access to the territory of work of persons not related to the performance of work.

use shut-off systems;

Organize round-the-clock specialized security of the facility with a bypass of the area of   work;

Install signs of driveways and passageways.

Green spaces in the 5-meter demolition zone are present in significant numbers, the project provides for the demolition of 17 trees.

Engineering and technical personnel certified for knowledge of the Safety Rules for Hazardous Production Facilities Using Lifting Facilities are allowed to perform work on the construction site on disassembly of buildings using lifting cranes. (hereinafter referred to as IR) having passed the test of knowledge of industrial safety requirements established in federal laws and other regulatory and legal acts of the Russian Federation.

For the period of work on disassembly of the building, the place of installation of the crane on the site is protected by a signal tape.

The entire construction site is enclosed by a continuous fence 2.0m high.

Disassembled structures and materials of decor and stucco with architectural and historical value, are stored on the storage site to bring them to the right state, take dimensions and perform inventory records, drawings

Construction debris is collected in special production containers, followed by export to the landfill of Argo LLC for disposal.

When organizing a site, placing areas of work, workplaces, driveways of construction machines, installing lifting mechanisms, it is necessary to indicate hazardous areas for people within which hazardous production factors constantly operate or potentially act.

The following zones should be considered as permanently operating hazardous production factors:

near non-insulated current-carrying parts of electrical installations;

close to non-fenced height differences by 1.3 m or more;

To perform work in a permanently operating hazardous area, a work permit must be issued.

Areas of potential operational hazards should include:

Sections of the territory near the construction facility;

Floors of buildings and structures in one grip, above which structures and equipment are dismantled;

Zone of movement of machines, equipment or their parts, working tools;

Places above which cargo is transported by lifting cranes.

Areas of permanently operating hazardous production factors in order to avoid access of unauthorized persons shall be protected by protective fences that meet the requirements of GOST 13407-78

Areas of potential operational hazards shall be protected by signal enclosures meeting the requirements of GOST 2340778. Hazardous areas shall be marked with safety signs and inscriptions in accordance with GOST 12.402678 SSBT.

The boundaries of hazardous areas within which hazards may arise due to falling objects are determined by the horizontal distance from the place where the cargo may fall. Hazardous area during crane operation - crane operation area plus 4.0m at lifting height up to 10m.

All persons located on the site where the buildings are demolished are required to wear protective helmets according to GOST 12.4.08780. Working and ITR without protective helmets and other personal protective equipment are not allowed to perform the work.

Safety signs should be installed at the gate of entry to the site: the entrance is prohibited, the crane works carefully, the traffic diagram of vehicles on the construction site.

Domestic premises of workers on disassembly are located in prefabricated premises of container type, installed behind hazardous area of cranes operation, in south-west corner of construction site.

Main period of building dismantling

Removal of housing No. 2 is performed in two flows and by grips:

The first stream is manual disassembly (removal) of decor elements, stucco, wooden elements of turrets, eaves, etc. Work is carried out from the cradle of a car lift, from scaffolding or a mobile installation tower. The remaining part of the building - staircases with cast iron stairs - is separated and protected. Disassembly of the structure of the gable roof and rafter system

Dismantling of demolished buildings begins with their examination for spontaneous collapse of structures: roofs, floors, walls.

After inspection - which is performed by the foreman and foreman, in rooms where there is no threat of collapse, dismantling (removal) of water supply, heating, radiators, etc.

The next step is to disassemble the roof and floor. Before starting dismantling, decorative elements are removed from the roof and facade, carefully placed in the places of storage of materials, for taking measurements and sketches for subsequent restoration of decorative elements.

Prior to completion of dismantling works - to establish the order of signals exchange between the person, the control disassembly, the car lift driver and the working disassembly operator. All commands are given by only one person, except for the "STOP" signal, which can be sent by any employee who has noticed a clear danger.

The car crane performs work on removing the roof structures from the disassembly zone to the storage site or to vehicles. (see PPRPS)

When carrying out dismantling operations, with a car crane and a car lift, work is allowed only under the guidance of the person responsible for the safe performance of work with lifting mechanisms. Operations are performed by grips. During the operation of the lift on one grip, work is carried out with the crane on another grip, with the obligatory observance of a distance of at least 5.0 m between the arrows and cargoes.

• The second stream - mechanized disassembly of the building, by the method of collapse of the frame structures. The works are performed by excavator - breaker, with hinged elements - bucket, hydraulic scissors, hydraulic hammer, wedge, etc.

Prior to the commencement of the mechanized demolition of the building using the HTACHI ZX 250 excavator, all preparatory work shall be performed:

· manually disassembled roof;

· manually dismantled decorative decoration of the facades and outbuildings of the building;

· the part of the building structures in the places of interface with the preserved stairways in axes "78" and "1516" is manually disassembled;

· protection of the preserved flights of stairs is performed;

· Install road slabs for excavator parking lots and temporary roads;

· arrangement of storage sites for inventory of dismantled elements of facade decor.

Protection of stair flights is performed by continuous wooden shields along the perimeter, to protect the stair structures from falling debris of building elements during further mechanized dismantling (breaking).

Mechanized demolition of a 2-story building is carried out from top to bottom to ground level from the "22" axis to the "1" axis, using an excavator - the HTACHI ZX 250 destroyer (or another with no less characteristics), with replaceable demolition equipment (ladle, reverse shovel, hydraulic hammer and hydraulic scissors). Demolition of the structure should begin on the side of axis "D," from axis "22." Demolition of the building is carried out in 12 ton grips. Demolition starts from axis "D." The excavator collapses the structures, moving to the opposite end of the building, to the wall along the axis "B," where it finishes the demolition of the building within the first grip. In the same way, the building is demolished on the grips "24," then the excavator turns towards part of the building in the axes "1310" and begins disassembly on the grips "57" according to the same scheme as on the grips "14." The excavator removes part of the building within the grip "8" from the grip "5." And then, according to the same scheme, the building is demolished within the "912" grips. The excavator should work particularly closely on the grips "34" and "910" near the stairwells to avoid damage to their structures .

After the collapse of structures, too large elements, depending on the material, are sawn or cut with autogenous devices. As the structures of the building are dismantled, the building waste should be immersed in dump trucks for removal to the landfill. The excavator should be installed at a distance of 5 meters from the projecting wall to the nearest caterpillar. The collapse of the building should be controlled, spontaneous collapse should be avoided, especially in the direction of the working excavator.

Excavation of the foundations of the dismantled building is carried out at the stage of erection of new structures of the reconstructed structure, simultaneously with the development of the pit soil, after the installation of a temporary tongue-and-tongue fence of the historical bud foundations of the preserved staircases.

Process of construction disassembly works on the site.

Workers must perform disassembly work in protective helmets, special clothes, protective glasses, sleeves. When performing work with dust formation - respiratory devices. For operation at height - safety mounting belt is attached to safety steel rope D = 810mm.

If the design is not of value for reuse of materials, it falls on the floor using an excavator with a bucket or with a wedge. Flooring collapsed on the floor is sorted for disposal - wood and other combustible materials - for disposal at an incinerator, brick, stone, etc. incombustible garbage - to a landfill.

Overlaps where such destruction is not possible are disassembled manually using a crane. Wooden floor beams are released in the places of supports by a gas cutter or a Bulgarian, slung onto the crane hook and transferred to the storage place for further disposal.

At the facility there are stone concrete foundations - the basement part - the dismantling of which is carried out by bump hammers, the bottom from the ground. As stones are valuable, sawn stones are brought into good condition and stored for reuse. Stones that are not suitable for further use by an excavator are loaded onto car dump trucks and taken to landfill.

Thin dilapidated walls and partitions up to 3.0m high - are destroyed by overturning using an excavator and they are loaded for removal.

In buildings located along residential buildings on the eastern side, disassembly should be carried out to the level of concrete floors. Since this section will be located under the crane tracks. - Loosening the foundation is impractical.

In the places of adjoining to the preserved staircases, dismantle manually, separate the building structures from the staircases using diamond cutting.

Requirements to be observed when working with diamond cutting installations (tools):

- The specialist who has to carry out this operation must protect himself, using the means of individual protection: respiratory, thick gloves, headphones, boots with a fortified cape and special glasses.

Before starting any operation using such equipment, it is necessary to check whether it is functioning properly, evaluate its technical condition, carefully inspect the disk (first of all, if it corresponds to the tool used and the type of work performed). You should also check the spindle of the machine: whether there are chips, potholes and other damage on its surface.

- It is important to inspect the seats: for the car and for the disk - for their correspondence to each other in terms of size.

- Install diamond disc only when power is off.

- In order not to be injured during the operation, the worker must be at a safe distance, even the slightest contact with the rotating disk and other mechanisms is unacceptable.

- The diamond disc shall be perpendicular to the surface to be treated during the operation. Side pressure should be avoided. The maximum allowable cutting speed (which is usually specified on the disk itself by the manufacturer) cannot be exceeded.

- For some time, the operation should be stopped in order to check the state of the cutting tool and the level of coolant, if the latter is used.

- When the cutting disk is immersed inside the material to be treated, it is forbidden to disconnect the machine.

Foundations made of rubble stone are dismantled after their excavation by excavator and manually on both sides. Simultaneously with earthworks. Key joints are broken with a baffle hammer, released stones are raised by a crane and stored at the storage site, where they are brought into good condition.
