Description of the designed elevator
The bucket elevator is a closed web with a traction member enveloping the drive and tension drums (sprockets) and buckets attached to it. Bearing and enclosing part of elevator. is a welded steel casing with loading and unloading branch pipes. Drive has electric motor, reduction gear, couplings and stop preventing reverse movement of web. A screw or load tensioner is used on the elevator. The speed of the web of slow-moving elevators is up to 1 m/s, fast up to 4 m/s. The supply of bucket elevators is 5-500 m3/h, the lifting height H does not exceed 60 m. The main parameters of bucket elevators are the width of the VK, height h, departure A, the useful (to the edge of the front wall) capacity of the bucket and the distance (pitch) between buckets aK. High-speed elevators have arranged deep and small ladles, for which ak = (2.5-3) h, and as a traction element - a conveyor rubber-fabric belt or a short-link chain. On slow-moving elevators, closed (ak = h) with side guides are used acute-angle and with a rounded bottom buckets attached by side walls to two traction chains.
