Description
The main two-section brake cylinder is usually installed on modern cars. The brakes of the left rear wheel and the right front, in front-wheel drive cars, combine one of the circuits, and the right rear wheel and the left front - the second. The braking working system in cars that have rear-wheel drive is built on a different principle. The second circuit serves the rear wheels, and the first - the front. The main brake cylinder is fixed on the vacuum brake amplifier, namely on its cover. A tank with two sections, in which there is a certain supply of brake fluid, connects with bypass and compensation holes, sections of the main cylinder, and has a location above the cylinder itself. It is needed in order to replenish its stock in case of evaporation or leakage of braking fluid. For the convenience of measuring the level of such liquid, the walls of the tank, which are transparent, are marked for control (usually "MIN" and "MAX"), as well as in the tank there is a sensor that shows the level of braking liquid. If the level drops, lower than the one installed on the dashboard, then the signal lamp on the dashboard makes itself felt.
