Why do I need a layout ("millimeter")?
1. It is drawn before the design approximate calculations of shafts, where the bending moments of shafts are determined, the so-called epures are built, and the diameters of shafts in sections are calculated using formulas from the copromate.
2. In this case, the approximate dimensions-distances are used from the layout
between middle seats of bearings, wheels, gears, output and input places of shafts.
3. Therefore, it is enough to use only one visible cross-section of the gearbox. The second type (front) of the reduction gear is generally not needed. It is drawn after all calculations have been completed, easily using projection links.
4. Therefore, only the widths of gears and wheels, as well as
shaft diameters defined in item 4 of DBE "Design Estimated Shaft Calculations."
5. Errors of dimensions between the middle of seats are permissible
10 mm. It was also investigated and determined that changing the size by 10 mm leads to changing the diameter of the shaft by only 0.1 mm.
