Introduction
Production efficiency, technical process, quality of manufactured products is largely determined by the development of production, technological processes, new equipment, tooling, tools, mechanization and automation.
The pace of development of machine building, qualitative and quantitative composition of the machine park largely determines the industrial potential of the country and characterizes the level of its machine building.
Currently, there is an extremely unstable and unfavourable situation for production. The main reason is the crisis associated with the severance of economic ties with the former republics of the USSR, large taxes that do not allow the development and expansion of production, and also prevent the introduction of new technologies.
To get out of the crisis, Ukraine needs technical re-equipment of production, a qualitative change in its structure and organization; Comprehensive mechanization and automation of machining, assembly and auxiliary operations is required; high degree of equipment of operations and reduced share of manual labor, wide implementation of software control and design (CAD), creation of robotic systems and production facilities, introduction of computer equipment into production, high accuracy and reliability of products.
The main tasks in designing the course project are the development and improvement of technological processes for machining parts.

1.1. description of product design and operation
In the course design, for the design of the process, the shaft part of the two-stage reduction gearbox CD650 is selected, which is used to transmit torque in the pusher movement mechanism. The gear shaft of the reduction gear is a complex part. Special attention should be paid to lubrication of all parts with increased friction.
1.2. Part Service Assignment Description
The given part - gear shaft - is 730 mm long. Belongs to the class of shafts. Part weight m = 22 kg. The part is included in the unit of reduction gearbox CD650. Part Assignment-Transfers torques. The part is made of 40X alloy steel.
The part works on bending and torsion.
1.3. directions adopted during design
When designing the manufacturing process of a given part, it is necessary to choose the most economical path, while it is desirable to make the production low waste or non-waste.
Process development in accordance with GOST 14.30183. includes: classification of the manufactured product based on the process classifier; selection of technological bases; preparation of a process processing route; development of technological operations; rationing of operations; definition of occupational safety requirements; calculation of accuracy, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of process variants, preparation of process documents.
Conclusion.
In this course project, an automated line for the manufacture of parts of the Valshesternya type was developed that meets the requirements of modern machine building for the manufacture of a shaft part and contains an explanatory note and graphic material. During the course project, the following tasks were solved:
- part processability analysis is performed;
- proposed and economically justified method of obtaining a blank;
- technological process has been developed;
- a general AL (ASK 00.00.01 VO) drawing has been developed;
- algorithm of RTC operation and control system (ASK 00.00.01, ASK 00.00.01 SE) is developed;
- an assembly drawing of the capture organ PR (ASK 01.00.00 SS) has been developed.
