Automatic Powder Installation Working Project
fire extinguishing and fire alarm (AUPS) of powder painting and storage powder section is made on the basis of the technical specification presented by the customer.
Automatic and manual painting chambers shall be protected by automatic fire-fighting installation. The powder pantry is protected by automatic fire alarm.
Automatic fire extinguishing unit of modular type, fire extinguishing agent - powder.
Fire extinguishing powder by the degree of exposure to the body refers to low-hazard substances of hazard class IY in accordance with GOST 12.1.00776. Irritating effect: on the mucous membrane of the eyes - weakly expressed, on the skin - absent. Powder compositions used are not toxic, do not corrode metals in dry form. After a fire, the powder can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or washed away with water.
Fire extinguishing unit is made on the basis of modules of powder MPP5.

Characteristics of protected premises
3.1. AUPS shall be protected
3.2. The category of the powder painting area is B4.
Main Technical Solutions Adopted
IN THE PROJECT
5.1. In automatic mode PPKOP "Dozor16" performs constant cyclic polling of connected devices, analyzes the status of alarm loops and start-up circuits.
5.2. For targeted extinguishing, protected rooms are divided into 3 fire extinguishing directions according to functional and structural features
5.3. The storage room of powder is protected by a fire alarm.
5.4. In order to avoid false actuations, the command to start fire extinguishing modules is generated according to the "I" scheme (when two detectors are activated in different loops of the same fire extinguishing direction).
5.5. At the exit to the escape route, manual fire detectors are installed for manual generation of the signal "Attention" in case of visual detection of the fire center by duty or maintenance personnel.
5.6. When two fire detectors operate in different loops of the same fire extinguishing direction, the control equipment generates a "Fire" signal. "Powder go" light-and-sound annunciators of this direction and sound annunciators are ON. Commands are generated for PCP and/or fire protection, as well as for disconnection of plenum ventilation and process equipment. If the AUPS is in the "Automatic on" state, the thirty-second count of the delay in the release of the extinguishing agent (the time required to evacuate people) begins.
5.7. After thirty-second delay, PPKOP "Dozor16" outputs an electric pulse to the starting devices of MPP5 of the direction in which the detectors worked. After increasing the pressure in the housing to the operating value, the membrane is opened and the fire-extinguishing powder in a fluidized state enters the distribution pipeline (branch pipe) and then through the sprayers to the protected area.
5.8. When the detector is activated, a signal "Fire" is generated in the storage room of the powder, external sound alerts are turned on.
5.9. Remote startup of modules with a delay of 30 s in each direction can be carried out by introducing a code from the Dozor16 PPKOP.
5.10. Fire extinguishing modules can be started in the appropriate direction from the manual starting device of URP7. Starting from URP7 is performed without delay. Make sure that the personnel have left the extinguishing zone prior to actuation of URP7.
5.11. KTs1 devices are used in this project for continuous serviceability check of annunciator circuits.
5.12. Emergency lighting shall be provided at the location of the manual start-up device providing illumination of at least 10% of the operating lighting standard 100150 lux.
5.13. The automatic start mode is restored by entering the code from PKP16 or from the monitoring panel PP3216 PPKOP "Dozor16."
5.14. The design of fire extinguishing plants completely eliminates the possibility of the fire extinguishing agent entering the protected room before the plants are activated, which guarantees the safety of personnel in these rooms.
Information on organization and maintenance of installation works
6.1. Installation of the powder fire extinguishing module is recommended in the following sequence: preparatory work, measurements of the protected room, binding and installation of the module.
6.2. Install the pipelines using clamps and on site, in accordance with the placement plans, coordinating the attachment places with the site administration.
6.3. Steel water and gas pipes GOST 326275 shall be used for the pipeline.
6.4. Wires and cables shall be laid in accordance with PUE, NPB 8801.
6.5. The circuits of alarm loops shall be laid on walls and ceiling in corrugated pipe of non-combustible ∅16, installation shall be carried out by wire of KSPV 2x0.5 mm type.
6.6. Start-up and warning circuits shall be laid by 2x0.75 mm2 wiring in corrugated pipe ∅16. Start-up and alarm circuits can be laid together in one corrugated pipe.
6.7. In all cases where wires and cables pass through walls, wire or cable, lay in a separate piece of steel pipe.
6.8. Distance between fire-fighting communication systems, cables and power cables shall be not less than 0.5 m.
6.9. AC10 annunciators shall be installed on site taking into account optimal audibility of the alert.
6.10. Connect "Dozor16" devices PKP-16, BRP12/5, PP3216, RT8A, UU-8A, UP4A, KTS-1 in accordance with the diagrams given in "Operation Manual on" Dozor16 "NN 2.406.003 RE.
Power supply and earthing
7.1. AUPS in terms of power supply reliability shall have category I power supply according to PUE. If it is impossible to supply electric receivers from two independent sources, it is allowed to supply them from one source: from different transformers of two-transformer or from two nearby single-transformer substations connected to different supply lines laid along different routes with an automatic reserve input device.
7.2. At objects of power supply reliability category III it is allowed to use storage batteries providing power supply of electric receivers in standby mode for 24 hours and in "Alarm" mode for at least 3 hours.
7.3. Earthing of modules tanks shall be performed by wire with copper core section not less than 1.5 mm2. Connect all grounding wires to the common grounding circuit of the building, refer to RD 78.14593. Operation of the device should be carried out in accordance with the "Rules for technical operation of electrical installations by the consumer" and "Intersectoral rules for labor protection (safety rules) during operation of electrical installations" put into effect with the 01.02.2001 of the State Energy Supervision.
Maintenance and maintenance of automatic powder fire extinguishing and fire alarm plant
9.1. At the facility, all types of maintenance and maintenance work, as well as the maintenance of fire automation units, must be performed by the facility's own specialists who have undergone appropriate training, or under an agreement with organizations licensed by the State Fire Service management bodies for the right to carry out work on the installation, adjustment and maintenance of fire automation units.
9.2. The main purpose of maintenance is to carry out measures aimed at maintaining the units in a ready-for-use state: preventing faults and premature failure of component devices and elements.
9.3. The structure of maintenance and repair of modules includes the following types of works:
maintenance;
planned maintenance;
planned overhaul;
unscheduled repairs.
9.4. Observation of planned work of installation, elimination of the found defects, adjustment, control, approbation and check of integrity of chains of start of the elements gas-generating belongs to maintenance.

9.6. The scope of overhaul, in addition to the work provided for by the current repair, includes the replacement of worn-out plant elements.
9.7. Unscheduled repairs are carried out in the scope of current or major repairs and are carried out after a fire, accident caused by unsatisfactory operation of the equipment, or to prevent it.
9.8. During maintenance works, the requirements of the "Instructions for the Organization and Performance of Works on Regulated Maintenance of Fire Fighting, Fire and Fire Alarm Plants," 1982, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and the Ministry of Defense of the USSR, RD 78.14593, as well as RD 0090196 "Fire Automation Plants. Technical Content Rules. "
9.9. 100% powder reserve for fire extinguishing modules, as well as disposable devices according to maintenance contract are stored in "Flame" STC and delivered as required to the customer
