Accessory for starters disassembly

Construction Description

The designed accessory serves to secure the car starter during its repair or diagnostics.

The accessory is installed on the mast or table and is bolted to avoid its overturning during operation.

The device consists of a body 2 representing a prism.

Rack (1) must be attached to the housing. The strut 1 serves to hold the starter body on the device, as well as to unscrew the pole screws, in case the stator windings need to be replaced. Starter is held by rotation of screw (3) by handle (5).

In case of unscrewing of pole screw, tip (4) is installed on screw (3).

The post 1 with the screw 3 can be rearranged both on the left side of the housing and on the right.

The fixture body 2 must be attached to a table or mop.

Operation with the accessory consists in the following:

Starter is installed on prism;

By rotating the screw, the tip is brought to the pole screw and slightly pressed;

Wrench (27 "") rotates the tip and unscrews the starter pole screw;

As the pole screw is unscrewed, the accessory screw is also unscrewed.

To secure the starter (without unscrewing the pole screws), the tip is removed and pressed against the prism plane with the screw. If necessary, two racks with screws can be installed.
