Review of existing similar designs and justification for selection of proposed design
Currently, such devices do not exist. There are only mandrels and conductors for the repair of forks, but since recently the repair of units related to restoration is not relevant, these devices have lost the urgent need. Among other things, this device is also convenient in that it can quickly be rebuilt for another purpose, for example, defect of parts of the "round rods" class.
Operating and Maintenance Rules
- only those persons who have undergone TB training are allowed to work with the device, especially - labor protection requirements when working with pneumatic equipment;
- it is necessary to work only with a serviceable measuring tool;
- avoid unstable position of the accessory on the table or layout;
- if faulty parts are detected, replace them;
- periodically monitor the condition of fasteners, lubricate the movable parts of the accessory once a year with Litol 24 grease;
- not to use the device for other purposes, or for control of forks of cardan shafts of trucks;
- prevent "idle" actuation of the pneumatic chamber of the accessory, i.e. without the installed fork, as this can lead to damage to the rubber buffer 10.
Strength calculation of parts operating under stress conditions
The calculation of parts for cutting, compression or stretching is not carried out, since this design of the device is not subjected to power loads, and does not carry heavy work. In addition, in this device, all tightening moments of fasteners are specified by GOST and there are no elements in it that can be deformed.
