Description
NOx compounds contained in flue gases of heat generating plants are a particular danger. It is now recognized that effective means of reducing the release of NO and NO2 into the atmosphere when burning gas in boilers and furnaces are measures leading to a decrease in the temperature in the flare core, namely, the supply of cooled combustion products to the combustion zone and the humidification of the combustion air or combustion products in the furnace volume.
