Introduction
Any building shall best meet its functional purpose. This means that the composition, dimensions, quantity and mutual arrangement of the rooms, the state of their air environment, the strength and stability of the building structures, their ability to protect the room from external climatic impacts and noise should be most consistent with the technical processes for which the building is built.
It is impossible to provide these processes only with construction tools. Therefore, the modern building is equipped with a large number of engineering and sanitary equipment systems: transport systems (elevators, escalators, lifts, etc.), cold and hot water supply, fire fighting, sewage, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, heat and gas supply, power supply, lighting, information (telephone, radio, television, alarm).
Any building as an artificially created environment has an ethical and aesthetic effect on a person. The organization of internal space must meet the ethical requirements of society. The appearance of the building, its interiors should be formed according to the laws of architectural composition.
The necessary building qualities are achieved by technical means, the application of which is regulated by the national "Construction Codes and Regulations" (SNiP). Various types of building classification are used in this regulation.

General plan
The designed residential building is located in one of the blocks of the Saryarka microdistrict, in Pavlova Lane, crossing the street. Academician Chokin. In this quarter there are: 9 storey residential building, parking lot, store.
The total courtyard territory of the quarter has the following improvement elements:
- one playground with small architectural forms (sandboxes, carousels, game shells);
- dormitory;
- waste area;
- car park;
- store;
- Green communities;
- the main road.
On the development site, sidewalks are arranged 1.5 m wide, intra-quarter driveways - 3.5 m, quarterly driveways - 3.5 m. Pedestrian paths are paved. The site is landscaped with trees of deciduous (linden, maple) and coniferous (spruce) species. Shrubs (lilac) and trees not only adorn the interior, but also perform a fencing function, separating a quiet adult recreation area, a noisy area of children's games and an economic platform.
There is a convenient road junction, car parking lots.

General characteristics of the building

The size of the building section in the plan along the axes is 12.6 m by 25. The height of the building (from ground level to its uppermost part) is 27.975 m, the height of the floor (residential) is 2.6 m.
External walls are made brick on M150 cement sand mortar with thickness of 640mm, five-row masonry. The outer verst is 120 mm thick, with the embossing of seams made of finishing brick M75, the embossing and the inner verst are made of clay brick ordinary M100 in the wasteland for plastering with lime - sand mortar.
The inner walls are made 440 and 200 mm thick from M100 clay brick on M75 cement sand mortar into a wasteland for plastering with lime - sand mortar.
The basement, 1200mm high, is trimmed from wall foundation blocks and lined with decorative "ragged" stone.
Openings for filling with windows and doors are made in external and internal walls. In the outer walls, openings are made with quarters of 185 × 65mm. Above openings there installed are bar bridges on cement sand mortar with thickness of 20 mm. In outer walls in outer verst steel angle 100x65 mm is introduced into structure of bridge. Support of bridges on walls of 200 mm on each side for self-supporting and 400 mm on each side for carriers.
Above the entrance to the building there is a plate - a visor made of monolithic reinforced concrete pinched into a wall to a depth of 250 mm. The plate is made of bent channel No. 10 and reinforcement with a diameter of 10 mm with a slope from the wall of 0.003 ‰. Made on the plate
waterproofing of two layers of ruberoid and protective layer. In the places of abutment to the wall, two additional layers of ruberoid are laid and covered with galvanized steel. The edge of the visor is finished with galvanized steel.
Loggias are made of slabs resting on both sides on attached pylons. As fences on loggias from the first to the fifth floor there are screens with a height of 900mm, from the sixth to the ninth height of 1050mm from finishing brick M75 on cement sand mortar M100.
Exterior and interior decoration of the building
Exterior decoration: factory decoration of exterior wall panels with decorative mortar.
The basement panels are tiled. Elements of entrances, slopes of windows and doors on concrete are covered with silicate two-fold painting.
Windows, entrance and interior doors are painted with oil compositions.
Interior decoration: walls and partitions of common rooms and bedrooms and corridors are finished with water-emulsion painting;
In kitchens, the walls are water-emulsion painting, the panel is oil-painted, glazed tiles above the kitchen equipment.
In bathrooms and bathrooms - the walls are finished with ceramic tiles to a height of 2.2m, and the rest undergoes oil painting, the ceilings are subjected to adhesive whitening.
Staircases, entrances, vestibules, garbage chambers have water emulsion painting and oil painting to a height of 1.6m.
