2.2 Purpose, device and operation of the selected accessory The universal three-grasp extractor has a wide application - from removal of hubs to disassembly of the gearbox. This modification of the three-grip extractor is designed to disassemble the transmission elements, namely gearboxes. The basis was taken by the extractor ELORA 174. Its design was carefully considered. Drawbacks were revealed in the design of this extractor: the alloy from which the extractor is made was not strong enough to use it in disassembling gearboxes, a large number of movable parts, which reduces its reliability and increases the load on the responsible parts of the extractor, low repairability. Therefore, it was decided to develop a completely new filmmaker. The development is radically different from his "older brother." The design uses only domestic high-strength materials. At the same time, protection against excessive loads on the parts of the disassembled unit is structurally provided, in case of non-compliance with the disassembly process, namely, skew in the extractor installation, unoccupied locking rings, etc. In order to avoid the breakdown of expensive, and possibly scarce parts of cars, as well as injuries to the locksmith. Since the ideal manufacture and installation of the extractor can never be achieved, and practice shows that any movement of objects in one plane is possible only at three points. The operation of this extractor is as follows: • It is necessary to remove the bolts, fastening grips; • Set the required length of grips; • Screw the bolts back; • Remove the pressure screw to the required height; • Install the pressure screw in the centering hole of the shaft or axle; • Bring the "paws" under the part to be picked up; • Smoothly and without great effort turn the pressure screw until the grips are held without the help of the worker. After making sure that the extractor really "got up" without skewing, and all the locking rings are removed, you can begin to remove the part. If necessary, it is possible to use both a wrench with a wrench and a swivel, or even a pneumatic wrench with a nozzle. 2.3 Instructions 2.3.1 Operating Instructions The extractor is designed for disassembly of transmission components, and is a universal tool for maintenance of various components and assemblies of the undercarriage. It is not allowed to use the extractor for other purposes: removal of parts, the landing force of which exceeds 180 kgf, as well as use as supports and safety goats, and anti-roll stops.
