Introduction
CNC systems are equipped with round-grinding, in-grinding, flat-grinding, center-grinding, contour-grinding and other machines. Technical difficulties arise due to the following reasons. The grinding process is characterized, on the one hand, by the need to obtain high accuracy and quality of the surface with minimal scattering of dimensions, on the other hand, by the peculiarity of the processing tool, which consists in a quick loss of dimensional accuracy of the grinding wheel due to its intense wear during operation. Therefore, mechanisms are needed in the machine to automatically compensate for wear of the grinding wheel.
