Description
Speed shifting mechanism is intended for actuation of block-gear of shunting or working speed of combine movement. Hydraulic cylinder of speed shifting mechanism is installed in hole of cover, pos. 1. It consists of housing pos.3, cover pos. 6 and rod, pos. 4 integral with the piston (see left part of the rod). Housing, cover and rod for tightness are sealed with rubber rings pos.14 and 15. Oil is supplied to hydraulic cylinder through two threaded holes of housing, pos. 3. Rod pos. 4 by hinged connection, pos. 5 with fork (pos. 2, which is fixed on splines of roller pos.8 installed in two bushings pos.9. By turning the roller with a wrench beyond the tetrahedron, you can manually turn on and off the block gear (not shown). When oil is supplied to hydraulic cylinder, rod (4) communicates required reciprocating motion to fork (2), thus turning on or off the unit gear.
