Description
This is a reservoir filled with a sorbent,
which can be carbon or aluminosilicates.
The sorption filter housing is most often made of plastic or fiberglass.
The fluid flow in the filter is from the bottom up.
During sorption, various substances are absorbed by specific solids or liquids.
A distinction is made between adsorption, where the contaminant is absorbed by the surface of the working element, and absorption,
where, as a result of absorption, the contaminant is distributed throughout the active component. A specification is attached to the assembly drawing.
