Description
Device design:
The single-pass shell and tube heat exchanger has straight tubes of a rigid design placed in a casing. For the production of parts, high-quality steel, stranded, tungsten or brass can be used. The design assumes the presence of tube sheets, which exclude the possibility of compensating for thermal elongations. In this case, the inlet and outlet pipes are located on the same side. This scheme of a single-pass shell-and-tube heat exchanger ensures ease of installation.
Scope of application:
The main advantage of a single-pass shell-and-tube heat exchanger is the ease of construction and maintenance. Their use assumes the presence of 100% counterflow of two coolants. However, the device can only be installed in areas where there is a small temperature difference between the tube bundle and the housing.
Technical specifications:
1. The device is designed to heat liquids.
2.Temperature:
- in the annular space 90 °С;
