Description
Screw press is used for assembly operations - pressing of small parts. During pressing, a special device 3 installed on the table of the press bed is used, which allows you to maintain size A. The pressure on roller 1 is created by the slider of press 4. Slider 2 (see drawing) has a translational motion. Key 3 is secured by two screws 12 and bolt 13 against rotation of slider 2 into frame 1. To reduce the friction forces between the rotating lead screw 4 and the translational slider 2, a bearing 11 is provided. Threaded bushing 5 is secured in bed 1 by nut 6; pin (17) protects bushing (5) from turning.
