Gearbox, shaft. In this course design, it is necessary to develop a mechanical drive according to the given scheme. Drive of this mechanism includes electric motor connected by means of V-belt transmission to high-speed shaft of cylindrical single-stage helical reduction gear. Low-speed shaft of reduction gear transmits rotation to working shaft of machine by means of compensating coupling. The design of the drive is carried out on the basis of the technical specification, which contains the purpose, main characteristics and loading modes of the mechanism. It is necessary to develop a gearbox assembly drawing with specification, working drawings of the shaft and gear wheel, as well as to execute an explanatory note with full calculation of the drive.

Conclusion

In this course design, a mechanical drive is designed, consisting of an electric motor connected by means of a V-belt transmission to a high-speed shaft of a single-stage cylindrical helical reduction gear. Low-speed shaft of reduction gear is connected with shaft of working machine by means of coupling. Kinematic calculation was made, the engine was selected, cylindrical and V-belt gears were calculated, shafts and a reduction gear box housing were designed. Tested for transmission strength, shafts and keys, as well as gearbox bearings for durability. Lubricant method and lubricant are selected.

Assembly drawing of gearbox with specification is made, as well as working drawings of gear wheel and associated shaft.
