Project of a service station for car wash and painting works

Description

This course project involves a complete technological and organizational study of a car service station (CSS) specializing in car washes, cleaning, and detailing with an annual capacity of 1,600 services per year. The work includes the following key components:

 

1. The CSS location was selected and justified.

 

Samara's urban infrastructure was analyzed.

 

A multicriteria analysis with weighting factors was applied.

 

Three sites were examined, and integrated attractiveness indicators were calculated.

 

Site No. 1 on Moskovskoe Highway was determined to be optimal.

 

2. A process calculation for the facility was completed.

 

2.1. Initial data was defined and justified.

 

Annual capacity: 1,600 vehicles.

 

Working hours: 12 hours, 350 days per year.

 

The average weighted labor intensity per service was determined to be 0.85 man-hours.

 

2.2. The annual production program has been distributed.

 

Seasonal factors have been calculated by month.

 

Quarterly and monthly workload distribution has been performed.

 

Tables have been compiled: number of vehicles and labor intensity by month.

 

2.3. The number of production stations has been determined.

 

Calculations have been made for the peak month (April).

 

Working time utilization factors have been taken into account.

 

It has been determined that one universal station is sufficient.

 

2.4. Headcount has been calculated.

 

The number of employees, both on-site and on the payroll, has been calculated.

 

Determined:

 

Car washers/detailers — 3,

 

Administrators — 2,

 

Director — 1.

 

Total: 6 full-time employees.

 

2.5. The area of ​​the premises has been calculated.

 

A total area of ​​119 sq m has been created, including:

 

wash and detailing area — 40 sq m,

 

drying and paintwork area — 40 sq m,

 

utility room — 10 sq m,

 

customer area + administrator — 15 sq m,

 

staff room — 10 sq m,

 

restroom — 4 sq m.
