Introduction
The Republican unitary industrial enterprise Borisov Plant AvtoHydropower was created by order of the Ministry of Automotive Industry of the USSR of 22.06.1967 No. 182, and is currently an enterprise of the Republic of Belarus based on state property, administered by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus. The company specializes in the production of steering units of cars with hydraulic amplifiers and is the leading in this area among the CIS countries, also produces consumer goods: auto parts, auto accessories, household tools.
Today, AvtoHydropower Group is a modern enterprise equipped with equipment with a high degree of mechanization and automation of technological processes, developed technical services.
The company is located on two sites.
The production area is 102.2 thousand square meters. m
The number of employees is over 5300 people.
The company has installed about 3270 pieces of equipment,
including: - automatic lines - 20 units
- processing centres - 18 units
- automatic and semi-automatic machines - 941 units
- aggregate machines - 560 units
- active monitoring devices - 150 units
The company produces 56 items of products, 25 items of consumer goods
A high level of enterprise management, a developed powerful production base, a perfect production structure, modern flexible technologies allow you to quickly master the production of new nodes and consumer goods, constantly expanding the range of products.
Newly mastered products in their technical level are not inferior to analogues and have competitiveness in relation to companies that are leading in this type of equipment.
The company's staff, its management managed to maintain production potential and personnel through flexible technologies, creating original own developments of product designs, developing new industries, and establishing a stable market.
The products are exported to the following countries: Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary.

For the new generation of cars, the company created the design of the rack-type steering gear SNKF453465.100, which includes the part "Piston" SNKF 454361 100/07110.
Fire safety
According to the degree of fire hazard, this production according to NPB 52000 belongs to category D - incombustible substances and materials are in cold condition.
According to SNB 2.02.01, the manufacturing area of this part is located in the building of the II degree of fire resistance.
All processing operations of this part are fire-safe from the point of view of possible sunbathing.
Possible causes of fires on the site are:
a) failure of electrical equipment (sparks generated during short circuits, and heating of sections of electric networks and electrical equipment, spark discharges of static electricity);
b) oiled rags;
Fire prevention measures:
a) oiled rags are stored in sealed special metal boxes and exported daily;
b) once a week the electrical equipment of the machine is inspected by a team of electricians;
In addition, in order to prevent possible fires, the enterprise carries out a whole range of preventive measures, divided into: organizational, technical, regime and operational.
Organizational measures include issues related to the correct operation of equipment and transport, the correct maintenance of buildings and structures, as well as territories, fire training for workers, the organization of voluntary fire brigades and fire technical commissions, and the publication of regulatory and technical documentation.
Technical measures include: observance of fire safety standards and rules when designing buildings and equipment, during its installation and installation of lighting, ventilation, heating systems.
Regime measures include: prohibition of smoking in prohibited places, prohibition of welding and other fire work in fire hazardous rooms.
Operational activities include timely preventive inspection, repair and testing of process equipment.
Timely implementation of the above-mentioned measures allows to significantly reduce the number of fires and fires that occur.
The workshop has two escape exits (doors, stairwell and gates leading outside) located on both sides of the building. The width of the evacuation exits is 1500mm, the width of the fire passages is 4500mm.
Fire-fighting water supply and primary fire extinguishing equipment are used in this production. As emergency firefighting equipment on the site are used - the fire extinguisher chemical foam OHP10 and carbon dioxide OU5 on one on 600800 sq.m, fire boards.
The fire extinguisher chemical foam (OHP10) is intended for suppression of the beginning fire of solid combustible materials, flammable liquids on the area about 1 sq.m.
The carbon dioxide fire extinguisher (OU8) serves for fast fire extinguishing (during 210s) especially at suppression of the electric motors which are energized.
Conclusion
As a result of the completed course project at the course "Engineering Technology," the technological process for the execution of the part "Piston" of the SNKF 454361 100/07110 for medium-scale production was developed. Labor productivity was increased due to the use of more advanced machine tools, cutting tools, auxiliary tools, devices and measuring tools. The use of automated equipment in the manufacture and movement of a part also contributed to an increase in labor productivity.
