Description

Ceramzite gravel - particles of a rounded shape with a melted surface and pores inside. Ceramsite is obtained mainly in the form of ceramsite gravel. Its grains have a rounded shape. The structure is porous, cellular. On its surface there is often a denser crust. The color of expanded clay gravel is usually dark brown, in the fracture - almost black. It is obtained by swelling during firing of low-melting clays in rotary furnaces. Ceramsite gravel is used as aggregate in manufacture of light concrete structures. Production line for the production of expanded clay gravel and sand. The kit includes text support and decoding of production technology.

Expanded clay

As a method of treating clay raw materials and preparing granules, according to the presented clay characteristics, a method of plastic forming granules will be used.

The raw materials from the dump trucks go to the closed clay storage, where the grab crane distributes it evenly throughout the area. Then the raw materials go to production.

With increased quarry humidity, clay is supplied to the receiving silo of the clay loosener of the raw material drying line. Loose clay is transported by belt conveyor to stone-separating rollers. Then to the drying drum 2.8x14 m. Dried clay by belt conveyor is sent to the receiving hopper of the raw material processing line.

Processing is carried out in stone-separating rollers, before which an iron separator is installed on the conveyor, in a belt screw press with a stone-separating attachment, where the mass is mixed, small inclusions are separated from it and liquid fuel oil is added. Then, fine grinding is processed in rollers with gap between rollers of 11.15 mm.

Prepared mass is transported to box feeder installed above forming unit for its uninterrupted supply. The pellets are formed on a belt screw press with a granulating attachment, then they are rolled and dried in a 2.8x14 m drying drum, a heat carrier in which part of the gases from the sintering furnace serves. Granules dried to humidity excluding their sintering by elevator and belt conveyor are transported to furnace compartment.

In the layer preparation (CMC198), the granules are completely dried and fed to a shortened rotary furnace (CMC199) heated to 200 ℃, where they are further heated and swelled at a temperature of 11501250℃. The expanded pellets are first cooled somewhat in an oven (to 9001000℃) and then in a layer cooler (CM1250) cooled to 80℃.

Cooled expanded clay is transported by belt conveyors to the finished product warehouse, where it is fed to the inertial screen by an elevator. Obtained fractions are distributed over silo jars by belt conveyor. Their capacity is designed for a five-day stock of finished products.

The warehouse provides for a unit for crushing large fractions (over 20 mm) with subsequent scattering in inertial screen and distribution to silo banks.

The shipment of expanded clay is possible for road transport .
