Description
The raw material of the process - the pure fraction of carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide extraction unit is supplied to the compression and drying unit.
To compress carbon dioxide to 1.7 MPa, piston two-stage compressors pos. 1,2,3. Temperature monitoring by PT 3, PT 6, PT 9 sensors is provided on the compressor discharge line. In case of pressure increase in the discharge compressor line, part of the CO2 is automatically discharged to the atmosphere by valve PV 1.
Carbon dioxide compressed in compressors at a temperature of 400C and a pressure of 1.7 MPa is supplied to a special filter pos. 4 for cleaning from mist-like moisture. The filter includes temperature monitoring by TT sensor 2, pressure monitoring by PT sensor 4 and moisture level control by LT sensor 5.
Then compressed CO2 enters adsorber pos. 5 filled with activated carbon, where there is a deep purification of carbon dioxide from traces of monoethanolamine and other organic impurities. The adsorber is provided with pressure control by PT sensors 7 and pressure control in the adsorber outlet pipeline by PT sensor 8.
After purification, gaseous CO2 is supplied to drying by regenerated zeolites in adsorbers pos. 6, 7. Two adsorbers are installed for alternating operation at the stages of adsorption and regeneration in the mode of automatic switching of flows in accordance with the cyclogram. The estimated duration of adsorption and regeneration cycles is 12 hours. The adsorbers are provided with top temperature control by sensors TT 10, TT 13 and bottom by sensors TT 11, TT 14, as well as pressure control in the outlet pipeline of adsorbers by sensor PT 12.
Regeneration of zeolite is carried out by heating adsorbent at reduced pressure by reverse stroke part of dried CO2 flow, maintenance of heating and cooling modes of which is provided by electric heater pos. 8. The temperature of the flow at the outlet of the electric heater is controlled through the TT sensor 15.
Dried gaseous carbon dioxide is cleaned from mechanical impurities in filter pos. 9. Temperature at filter outlet is controlled by TT sensor 16, pressure - PF 17.
