Oil & Gas Industrial Site - Risk Management, System Analysis and Modeling

The object of the study is the industrial site of the oil and gas complex. 

In the course of the study, the requirements for the design of facilities for the oil refining and petrochemical industries were studied, as well as knowledge was acquired in the field of building and using mathematical models of complex systems. Work was carried out with regulatory documents on modeling, design and operation of hazardous production facilities. Practical work was carried out on the use of graphic editors that allow creating 3D models of hazardous production facilities.

The purpose of the work is to consolidate and deepen the theoretical knowledge obtained in the course of training, to develop the skills of independent creative work of undergraduates to solve specific problems in the field of labor protection and modeling of hazardous processes in the technosphere.

As a result of the work, a 2D master plan of the industrial facility and a 3D model of the site were built, the deviation of the actual level of occupational risk from the maximum permissible level was calculated, and the amount of guarantees and compensations for employees was established. An organization standard has been developed that defines the procedure for identifying, assessing and minimizing risks in the field of industrial safety and labor protection at the enterprise.
