Introduction

The purpose of my design work is to develop a chemical apparatus: a vertical monjus for storing acetone.

Using methodological guidelines and initial data (Materials of articles, shell diameter, wall thickness, etc.) I have to:

build a process task in the program "Compass 3D 16.1" of this device, specify dimensions, perform all additional constructions (Views), calculate the initial mass of the inactive (empty) device and make an explanatory note, which will indicate all the data used by me and the algorithm of my actions.

Analytical Overview

Monjus are designed for lifting and displacement under pressure of air of pre-accumulated liquid in them. The nozzle is filled through the connector up to the specified elevation, after which the connector is shut off, and gas is sent to the connector under pressure. Thus, highly aggressive liquids are moved without the use of pumps. The connector on the upper bottom serves for liquid discharge from the apparatus. Monjus are repaired after careful preparation, ensuring complete safety of the work. To inspect the devices and perform repair work, the monsters are equipped with hatches. The walls of the housing and the necks of the connectors and hatches are subject to wear. They are repaired depending on the degree of wear according to the technology described earlier for cylindrical vertical devices. If necessary, the necks of the connectors and hatches are cut out and replaced with new ones. During repairs, the protective anticorrosion coating shall be thoroughly inspected; areas with damaged coating are restored after appropriate cleaning as it was carried out at the manufacturing plant or installation site .

3. As part of the technical project, the calculation of the full

weight of the apparatus, which is:
