1. Design Input
The following were used as input for the design:
- Architectural and construction drawings of the building;
- Technical assignment for development of design documentation for sections of low-current networks, fire and complex safety systems;
2. brief characteristic of the protected object
The housing complex for 122 apartments consists of two 13-story sections with built-in office space on the ground floor and an attached single-level underground parking lot. Address of the facility: St. Petersburg, Vasileostrovsky district,
On the first floor of the sections there are non-residential built-in rooms, garbage collection chambers, entrances to staircases and elevator halls. In each section on the 1st floor there is a concierge room. The second floor of the building is technical, and is intended for laying utility networks.
3. video surveillance system.
3.1 General provisions.
In accordance with the design specification, the object is equipped with a video surveillance system. The designed system shall provide:
- monitoring of people entering and entering the building;
- Monitoring of vehicles entering and leaving the underground parking lot;
- Monitoring of car storage premises;
- monitoring of the playground in the domestic territory;
- monitoring of elevator halls of 1 floor and elevator booths;
The video surveillance system is based on network equipment. The central unit of the video surveillance system - the video server - is installed in the parking security room, where personnel are on duty around the clock. Additionally, each residential section provides output of signals from video cameras of these sections to monitors in concierge rooms.
For data transmission of the video surveillance system, the project provides for the organization of a local computer network based on FastEthernet switches.
3.2 List of used equipment.
The video surveillance system is based on Trassir network equipment manufactured by DSSL (Russia).
The TRASSIR QuattroStation hybrid network DVR (video server) for IP video surveillance (NVR) systems is selected as the central element of the system. This recorder allows recording up to 64 channels (25 k/s per channel), displaying 64 video channels on 4 VGA monitors.
As video cameras, the project provides for:
- Dome color compact IPS camera DS-2CD7133-E with lens 2.8, 4, 6, 8 mm for installation in car storage room, in elevator halls of 1 floor sections and elevator booths;
- Color IPcamera in standard DS2CD893PFE package with 312mm and 550mm variofocal lenses in containment for outdoor installation;
- Built-in color video camera of doorphone call blocks;
To convert the signal from doorphone video cameras from analog to digital, the Lancer 4Mobile II video servers are used. This device converts the analog video signal from the video cameras to digital and transmits it over the Ethernet network to the central video recorder of the system.
Since the length of the cable lines of the local area network is not more than 100 m, category 5e twisted pair cables are used for data transmission.
Personal computers with Trassir Monitor software are installed in the concierge rooms of both sections.
Video surveillance equipment (switches, IPCs) is located in CB mounting cabinets in concierge rooms and parking security room.
Also, 12V uninterruptible power supply units are installed in the installation cabinets, which are used for uninterrupted power supply of video surveillance equipment, and video phones.

3.3 Cable routes
From network cameras to Ethernet switches, a Category 5e UTP cable is provided, to power supplies, a CVP cable is provided.
The RG59U cable is provided to transmit the video signal from the doorphone equipment (ringing panels, video splitters).
Along the technical floor of residential sections, cables are laid in the metal tray KM 150x3, cable branches are protected by corrugated pipe and laid along the ceiling. In the elevator halls, corridors, security rooms, concierges, cables are laid along the wall in the PVC box.

3.4 Operating principle
All digital equipment is combined into a local area network.
Video signals from digital cameras and Trassir Lanser II video servers are transmitted over the local area network to the QuattroStation Pro DVR. Data is written to hard drives and displayed in real time on monitors.
Personal computers with "Trassir Monitor" software installed in the premises of the section concierge are connected to the central DVR. The concierge accesses video viewing from video cameras installed in its section.
Only operators of the central DVR have access to viewing the archive and copying data.
3.5 Power supply
Lancer 4Mobile II video cameras and IPCs are powered by 12V uninterruptible power supplies with batteries.
Power supply of the DVR, with monitors connected to it, personal computers and switches located in the concierge rooms is provided from 220 V uninterruptible power supply units.
4. doorphone system
4.1. General provisions
According to the design specification, the doorphone system shall provide:
- duplex loudspeaker communication from the ringing panel with the subscriber or concierge, concierge with the subscriber;
- opening of the entrance entrance door with RFID electronic keys, by the subscriber when calling from the ringing panel or concierge;
- the possibility to transfer the call from the ringing panel to the concierge console;
- transmission of video signal from ringing panels to video surveillance system;
The doors at the entrances to the entrance are equipped with call panels.
4.2. List of used equipment
The video phone system is based on the "Visit" 400 series equipment.
The request for the visitor's passage and identification of the resident is carried out with the help of doorphone call unit BVD432RCB with built-in color video camera.
Functions of BVD-432RCB:
- Duplex hands-free communication with the subscriber;
- unlocking the entrance front door with Rfid electronic keys;
- visual monitoring of the situation in front of the call unit;
- illumination for TV camera;
- direct call button of concierge;
Operation of the network of video phones is controlled by the control unit of the domophone BUD420M.
Functions of ECU-420M:
- Possibility to build a system serving up to 4 entrances to the entrance of a residential building;
- number of subscribers up to 200;
- Duplex hands-free communication with the subscriber;
- user and service menus on the display of the call unit;
- memory with 1200 Rfid keys;
- operation with VIZIT concierge console.
The AVD104 splitter splits the video signal from the ringing panel.
Doorphone equipment is supplied from power supply units BPD18/1231.
Operation of video monofon equipment by the operator is controlled using TU412 units and TK401D panel.
In each apartment, devices are installed apartment intercom UKP7.
4.3. Equipment placement
Call units BVD432RCB are installed on the entrance doors in the elevator hall of the 1st floor.
The call units of BVD403NR are installed at the entrances to the black stairs .
Control equipment is installed in KB mounting cabinets in concierge rooms.
KTN10 telephone boxes are installed on each floor in all risers.
Subscriber units - UKP7 are installed near the entrance to the apartment at a height of 1.5 m from the floor. The exact position for the installation is selected in place by the installation organization.
4.4. Cable routes
From the ringing panel of BVD432RCB to the control unit BUD420M, route 10x0.5 and RG59 KSPV cable.
From the ringing panel of BVD403SR to the concierge panel, lay the 2x0.5 KSPV cable to the power supply unit - 2x0.75 BVP.
In order to eliminate the consequences of the voltage of other engineering systems of the building on the doorphone connecting lines, it is necessary to borrow the HPH call units in accordance with the work instruction provided by the equipment manufacturer - ModusN. Use a wire FP with copper core with a section of 2.5 mm2, connected to the zero protective conductor of the HBV, to perform the boring. The color of the zero protective conductor is yellow/green.
From the electromagnetic lock to the control units, lay the 2x0.75 BWP cable.
From BUD420M to blocks of switching BK100M to lay the KSPV 6h0.5 cable .
From blocks of switching BK100M on struts to lay KSPV10h0.5 cables, to embroider cables on each floor on KPTH10 boxes.
From boxes of KPTH10 to lay the KSPV 4h0.5 cable to subscriber devices in each apartment. Along corridors of inhabited floors to execute laying of cables in PVC 40х25 box.
Route the RG59u cable in each riser from the video connectors. Lay the standby 2x0.75 CVP cable from the cabinet in the concierge room over all risers for future network development.

4.5. Principle of operation
Passage through the main entrance of the entrance is carried out:
- upon presentation of Rfid access key in BUD420M memory;
- upon arrival of the call through the doorphone ringing panel to the apartment with the installed subscriber monitor at the fact of confirmation by residents of the permit to enter the entrance;
- upon receipt of a call through the doorphone ringing panel to the concierge room of the corresponding section at the fact of confirmation by the dispatcher of permission to enter the entrance.
The call signal from the ringing panels installed on the black stairs is transmitted to the console of the concierge of the corresponding section.
If a signal is received from the automatic fire alarm system, doors are unlocked to evacuate people. Opening of power supply lines of electromagnetic locks is carried out through the relay unit of the CC (provided by the design of the EAP).
4.6. Power supply
The devices are supplied from the 220V network through a circuit breaker installed in the KB cabinets in the concierge rooms. Power supply of doorphones equipment is carried out in category 1 according to PUE.
5. access control and control system
5.1. General provisions
At the entrance to the underground parking, the project provides for the installation of a barrier to block the passage of vehicles., And the installation of electromagnetic locks at the entrance doors to the parking lot to prevent unauthorized access of people to the underground parking lot.
The designed access control system provides:
- prevention of unauthorized access of vehicles to underground parking;
- prevention of unauthorized access of people to underground parking;
- logging and archiving of access events occurring in the system;
- use as a single identification key for the doorphone system and RFID access control of the key;
- opening of doors at reception of "Fire" signal from the building automatic fire protection system
5.2. List of used equipment
The access control and control system is built on the equipment of the Orion Integrated Security System (ISO Orion) of domestic production.
Access control and monitoring systems are adopted as technical tools
- Access controllers C20002 designed to control two access points (doors) or one barrier/gate;
- Personal computer with Orion software (installed in the parking security room)
Also applicable are:
- readers of access cards in the vandalized version;
- electromagnetic locks as actuating locking devices for doors;
- magnetic contact detector of IO102 doors position;
- hydraulic door finisher;
- electromechanical drives with barrier control units to control the entrance to the underground parking lot.
5.3. Equipment placement
Access controllers C20002, power supply units SCAT1200D with accumulator batteries, are installed in metal KB cabinets in accordance with the structural diagram.
Vandalized readers, IO102 door position control detectors, pass request buttons, electromagnetic locks are installed at inputs and outputs, controlled access points.
The barrier is equipped with MatrixV contactless card readers that work with Rfid logs used in the domophony system. Safety photocells are installed on the walls in the immediate vicinity of the barrier.
5.4. Principle of operation
In normal mode, the system receives signals from card readers, checks the card code with the base located in the internal memory of the controller and in the base of the Orion server system installed in the security room. If permission to pass is obtained, the controller removes voltages from the electromagnetic lock and commands the actuator control unit.
The system operator, through AWS Orion, controls all system controllers and devices connected to its outputs, has access to viewing the system event history.
If a signal is received from the automatic fire alarm system, doors are unlocked to evacuate people, The signal for unlocking doors is supplied from the equipment of the automatic fire alarm system of the car park through the RS485 interface.
5.5. Power supply
MCDS controllers are powered from 12V uninterruptible power supply units with accumulator batteries providing uninterrupted power supply to the controller itself and connected electromagnetic locks in case of voltage loss in the network.
