Description
INSULATION-LAYING WORKS - cleaning of external surface of pipe, insulation and its laying in trench during construction of main pipelines. There are combined and separate methods of conducting insulation-laying work. The first provides for simultaneous execution of all types of works in a single process; Note here that pipeline with cleaning and insulation machines arranged thereon is lifted by pipe liners above trench brow and laid on trench bottom as cleaning and insulation are performed. In the second case, insulation and laying of the pipeline in the trench are carried out separately; method is used in case of factory or basic insulation of pipes, as well as in case of lift-free laying of pipelines.
