Description
Semi-continuous and continuous medium-sized mills roll various profiles; round steel with a diameter of 30-120 mm; strip steel 40-120 mm wide; beams and channels up to 300 mm high; rails weighing up to 24kg/m and other billets with a section (100X X SW) - (270X270) mm at a speed of up to 7-9, and in some cases up to 12-15 m/s.
These mills are characterized by the presence of continuous groups of stands, which was a known advance in the field of rolling production.
