1. Selection and heat engineering calculation of external enclosing structures of the building

The final objective of the heat engineering calculation is to determine the heat transfer coefficient of the individual elements of the enclosing structures of the building. In course work, as a result of heat engineering calculation, the following are determined:

optimum heat transfer resistance of the outer wall for a given construction area;

the required thickness of the heat insulation layer of the outer wall, its actual resistance and heat transfer coefficient;

possibility of condensation of water vapors on internal surfaces of the wall and in the thickness of the external wall;

optimal filling of light openings, their actual resistance to heat transfer and air permeability, as well as heat transfer coefficient;

required thermal resistance of floor, attic floor, outer wall and windows, as well as their heat transfer coefficients.
