- Warning and evacuation management system.

The purpose of the alerting system.

The evacuation warning and control system (ESMS) is designed to perform the following functions:

• Initial notification of the institution's personnel (NPB10403, see Table 2, paras. 6-7);

• Automatic translation of specially developed texts (voice messages recorded in the voice notification memory unit) aimed at preventing panic and other phenomena that complicate evacuation with the selection of texts and their distribution in zones in automatic mode;

• Automatic distribution of signals in the group of warning zones by zones, in accordance with the sequence of notification (established by algorithm);

• Interfaces with the PG warning system;

• Actuation from command pulse generated by automatic fire alarm or fire extinguishing system;

• Alignment of EPSS with radio broadcasting network of the building with warning priority.

Main decisions taken

The technical solutions adopted in the project comply with the requirements of fire, environmental, sanitary and hygienic standards applicable in the territory of the Russian Federation, and ensure safe operation of the facility for life and health of people, subject to the measures provided for in the working drawings.

For warning and evacuation control of people in buildings in case of fire, a type 3 evacuation warning and control system (ESMS) is adopted. ECSS includes:

- mandatory voice announcement;

- placement of static indicators "Exit";

- actuation of static evacuation safety signs,

to eliminate phenomena on the territory of the hospital that complicate the evacuation process (panic, crowding of people in the aisles, etc.).

Since the Hospital is a complex of four separate blocks connected by crossings (see Working drawings, Master Plan), the EPSS is divided into four groups of zones. Each group of zones corresponds to a certain block. In each unit, in accordance with the evacuation plan, the alert sequence is determined - the distribution of translated texts programmed in the Instrument by zones during EMSS operation in automatic mode.

Description of the alerting system

The adopted technical solution is based on an integrated approach to fire protection of buildings and ensuring the safety of people in case of fire.

The fire warning and evacuation control system is an integral part of the automatic fire protection of the building. It is designed to alert staff and visitors to a fire, escape routes and other emergency circumstances, and also allows service announcements to be made to any of the groups of warning areas.

The choice of the method for notifying people about a fire is carried out according to NPB 10403 "Design of systems for notifying people about a fire in buildings and structures." According to the requirements of this document, the structure must be equipped with an automatic voice warning system. The notification is carried out by translating voice information about the need for evacuation and other actions aimed at ensuring safety.

Voice Announcement

In Instrument at the hardware level it is established that:

• First of all, the Duty Officer is notified, located in the premises of the Fire Station - dispatch room. The method of notification is light (Device indication system) and sound, through the built-in sound speaker of the buzzer.

• The second queue includes voice notification of a separate zone "Perso-

nailed institutions. " In this Zone, the alert starts with a minimum delay of

Koy. Method of notification - broadcast specially designed for Person-

the institution of text recorded in advance on a tape recorder.

• In the third place, the notification of "zones of the highest danger" begins (floor

fires and all floors above). Notification method - translation to Warning Zones

of specially designed text for this escape route, in advance

recorded on a tape recorder.

• Next line - all areas of this group (all floors).

• Last of all - a special message about the danger and the need for evacuation is broadcast to all warning areas at the facility.

Distribution of zones by Blocks is as follows:

• 1 area group - Unit "A":

-1 zone - basement rooms;

-2 zone - 1 floor rooms;

-3 zone - rooms of 2 floors;

-4 zone - rooms of 3 floors;

-5 zone - rooms of 4 floors;

-6 zone - "Institution personnel."

• 2 group of zones - Unit "B":

-1 zone - rooms of 2 floors;

-2 zone - rooms of 3 floors;

-3 zone - rooms of 4 floors;

-4 zone - "Institution personnel."

• 3 group of zones - Unit "B":

-1 zone - basement rooms;

-2 zone - 1 floor rooms;

-3 zone - rooms of 2 floors;

-4 zone - rooms of 3 floors;

-5 zone - rooms of 4 floors;

-6 zone - "Institution personnel."

• 4 group of zones - Block "D":

-1 zone - basement rooms;

-2 zone - 1 floor rooms;

-3 zone - rooms of 2 floors;

-4 zone - rooms of 3 floors;

-5 zone - rooms of 4 floors;

-6 zone - "Institution personnel."

Voice warning is started automatically when fire alarm is triggered from address relay units S2000SP1 of fire alarm "Orion" and in manual mode from control device "TrombonPU32." Each relay output of the S2000SP1 block belongs to one of zones of the notification and is programmed on inclusion at operation of fire announcers of this zone of the fire alarm.

To implement the notification algorithm adopted by this project, it is necessary to configure the control device using switches located on the device boards (see TROMBONPUM Operating Manual), which can be accessed through holes in the bottom of the device:

1. For the first channel module receiving fire alarm signals from unit "A":

• In group "P1," switch No. 1 No. 5 to carry alarms;

• In group "Gr.1," switch No. 1 to No. 5 to include the zones in group 1;

• Turn on the "Personnel Area" radio button.

2. For the second module receiving fire alarm signals from unit "B":

• In group "P1," switch No. 1 No. 3 to carry alarms;

• In group "Gr.2," switch No. 1 to No. 3 to include the zones in group 2;

• Turn on the "Personnel Area" radio button.

3. For the third channel module receiving fire alarm signals from "B" unit:

• In group "P1," switch No. 1 No. 5 to carry alarms;

• In group "Gr.3," switch No. 1 to No. 5 to include the zones in group 3;

• Turn on the "Personnel Area" radio button.

4. For the fourth module of channels receiving alarm signals of fire alarm from "G" unit:

• In group "P1," switch No. 1 No. 5 to carry alarms;

• In group "Gr.4," switch No. 1 to No. 5 to include the zones in group 4;

• Turn on the "Personnel Area" radio button.

5. On the clock board, turn on switch No. 5 to set the alert timeslots:

• Staff of the institution - 8 sec;

• High hazard zones - 128 sec;

• Zones of lesser danger - 256 sec;

• General alert - 512 seconds.

6. On the clock board, turn on switch # 6 to turn on the "General Alert."

A temporary delay is provided by the project in order to increase the reliability of fire reporting and to assess the fire situation by security personnel with the possibility of disconnecting the EPSS system in case of false activation. After a time delay, automatic notification is enabled.

Taking into account compliance with NPB 10403 standards, technical characteristics of "GLAGOL11," "VERAGOL-N1-3" voice warning devices and manufacturer's recommendations, it is accepted to establish:

• in rooms, the sizes up to (6х6.5) m, - one GLAGOLN11 annunciator;

• in corridors, size (35x2.5) m, - five "GLAGOL11" alerts at equal distance from each other;

• in rooms with dimensions from (6x4) m to (12x6) m - two "GLAGOL13" annunciators on opposite walls of the room.

The total number of annunciators installed on the site is 936 pcs.

Of these:

• in block "A" - 228 pieces. "VERB-H1-1"

• in unit "B" - 195 pcs. "VERB-H1-1"

• in unit "B" - 252 pcs. "VERB-H1-1"

• in block "G" - 261 pieces, from which 225 pieces. "VERBS 11" and 5 pcs. "GLAGOLN13".

The total electric power consumed by the annunciators, taking into account losses, is 1220.8 W. It is accepted to use four "TROMBONUM360" amplifiers one for each group of zones and four "TROMBONBP21" backup power supplies.

It is accepted to use the desktop microphone "SM10" for voice messages.

Notification is carried out from the security post.

The Trombone ECSS system is a single complex of fire warning and evacuation control.

In order to reduce current losses in the communication lines of the EMSS, and increase the strength of the sound pressure of the annunciators, and, as a result, reduce the number of annunciators, a voltage in the communication lines is selected equal to 120V. Taking into account the accepted voltage, we have the following system characteristics:

1. The "TROMBON - PU-M-32" control device is designed to receive command pulses generated by the automatic fire alarm system and, in accordance with the operation algorithm, issue commands and electrical signals to the sound warning system, supply the main or backup power to the power amplifier. The main power supply of the control device is provided from the 220V AC mains.

Backup power is provided by the battery installed inside the battery.

2. The translational power amplifier "Trombone - UM4360" is designed to receive electrical signals from the control device (sound, voice message of the operator, voice information of the phonogram), amplify these signals to the required power and output amplified signals through the switching group of the control device to the translational audio warning lines.

3. "Trombone - BP21" standby power supply unit is used for provision of standby power supply (24V post. current) of the power amplifier included in the audio warning system.

The units have a built-in storage battery, a system for charging and monitoring batteries, a module for indicating the state of the storage battery and mains voltage, three low-voltage DC sources, and a relay unit.

4. Voice fire annunciators "GlagolN11" and "GlagolN13" are designed to reproduce voice messages, special signals in fire warning systems, voice information and background music in systems: loudspeaker, sound amplification and translation. The sound power of the "GlagolN11" alert is 1 W. The sound power of the "GlagolN13" alert is 3W. Attach the voice annunciator to a height of 2.3m. from floor level, but distance from ceiling to annunciator must be not less than 150 mm.

For laying of the line of the notification use of a wire of KPSVV 1h2h1.5, not sustaining combustion is provided. Method of wire laying - along walls in electrical duct 15x10 and 35x18. Install annunciators on floors as per working drawings.

- Blick-S-12 "Arrow to the right,"

- Blick-S-12 "Arrow to the left,"

- Double-sided annunciators "EXIT TO LEFT" of LCS NBO12V01.

Actuation of annunciators is performed from 4 relay units "S2000SP1," installed one in each unit. C2000M CP is programmed so that "C2000SP1" is activated at fire hazard signal, in the building where the fire source was found.

Light annunciator is installed directly above exit along escape routes. A non-burning 2x0.8 HSVV cable is provided for the warning line. Method of cable laying in cable channel along walls.

Power supply of the warning and evacuation control system.

Power supply to EMSS shall be performed from single-phase industrial AC power supply network, voltage 220V and frequency 50Hz at voltage fluctuations within the range from + 10 to 15% and frequency +/1Hz.

To carry out a supply of the line of power supply PVS 3h1.5 wire from the separate automatic machine of food. The backup power supply is subject to mandatory grounding, using the third conductor of the power supply wire. Sign the power supply machine, tag the wire.

The main power supply of the "Trombone - BP14" backup power supply sources is provided from the AC network 220V, 50Hz from individual circuit breakers with a nominal value of 6A. Backup power supply is provided by built-in accumulator batteries, which provide backup power supply, when the main one is disconnected, for 24 hours in standby mode and not less than evacuation time in alarm mode (NPB 10403, para. 3.9).

Power supply of annunciators is performed from standby power supply sources of RIP12, refer to ( 02) 2A 7 A*ch also provides reserve power supply, at shutdown of the basic for 3 hours in the disturbing mode.
