Introduction

Engineering as an industry has existed for more than two hundred years. In terms of the number of employees and the cost of production, it ranks first among all sectors of the world industry. The level of development of engineering is one of the important indicators of the country's level of development. Mechanical engineering defines the industrial and territorial structure of the world's industry, provides machines and equipment to all sectors of the economy, and produces a variety of consumer goods.

The machine-building complex consists of mechanical engineering and metalworking. Engineering is engaged in the production of machinery and equipment, various types of mechanisms for material production, science, culture, and the service sector. Consequently, mechanical engineering products are consumed by all sectors of the national economy without exception. Metalworking is engaged in the production of metal products, repair of machines and equipment. The structure of mechanical engineering is very complex, the composition of this industry includes as independent industries, such as heavy, energy and transport engineering; electrical industry; chemical and oil engineering; machine tools and tool industry; instrumentation; tractor and agricultural machinery; mechanical engineering for light and food industries, etc., and many specialized sub-industries and industries. Mechanical engineering also produces consumer goods, mainly non-expendable. This industry is of great importance for the national economy of the country, as it serves as the basis for scientific and technical progress and material and technical re-equipment of all sectors of the national economy.

1.1. Utility and Part Design Description

A bushing is a part of a machine, mechanism, device of cylindrical or conical shape (with axial symmetry), having an axial hole, into which the mating part enters.

Depending on the purpose, bearing bushings, fastening bushings, adapter bushings, etc. are used.

Transition bushing is a tool used on metalworking equipment to install a tool with different Morse cones.

On the lathe, the adapter bushing is used to install the tool in the rear head, a fixed center in the front head.

For a milling machine, the transition sleeve is the main transition element, which significantly reduces the cost of technological preparation of production.

In this work, I selected the bushing of the high-frequency current collector.

In the vast majority of machines and machines used in various fields of industry, there is a need to provide supply voltage and electrical signals from fixed units and parts to rotating parts of the machine.

It would seem that it is easier to supply power: you just need to put the usual wires in a flexible cable channel and it's done. However, not everything is so simple - the described approach is suitable only if the rotation angle of the rotating unit is less than 360 degrees, it does not need to make several revolutions or rotate constantly.

In this case, it is necessary to use special equipment - current collectors, which are just used to supply supply voltage from the fixed part of the machine, machine or other installation to its rotating unit. Current collectors can also be used to transmit a signal from a controller or sensor to a rotating assembly of a machine.

Current collectors are used in many industries and the national economy, as well as in various areas of human life, such as:

o metalworking enterprises - in turntable machines,

o packaging industry - in horizontal and vertical packaging machines,

o paper industry - in paper machines and paper cutting machines,

o textile industry - in the system of winding threads of looms and other equipment,

o robotics - in rotary units of various purposes and rotary axes,

o Security services - in the rotary units of the CCTV camera drive,

o food equipment - in bottling lines (drum drives).

In addition, current collectors can be used in almost any turntable, crane equipment (drives for turning crane towers) and growth plants for semiconductors (according to the Chekhralsky method).

Modern current collector models have up to 20 power and signal current collector rings, which are located on dielectric rings. Electricity (signal) from fixed contacts, terminals, is supplied to brushes, which, in turn, slide along rotating current-collecting rings. Current is transmitted by means of wires passed through dial rings along the shaft.

3.2 Cutting tool.

Among the applicable tool, there was no specific one suitable for this course project, I decided to choose a boring cutter with hard alloy plates.

The straight-through cutter is used to process materials of various purposes on machines mainly of the turning group, as well as strict, long-range or special ones. The straight line cutter is mainly used in the treatment of outer cylindrical surfaces. Incisors of this type are made of fast-cutting steel or are equipped with a hard alloy, which is soldered to a steel mandrel.

Trimmers are used to trim the ends of workpieces to be machined. Such cutters operate using a transverse feed motion toward and away from the center of the workpiece.

3.3. Control accessory.

In this course project, I selected a cork caliber.

Calibers are extreme and normal. The normal gauge (template) is used to check complex profiles. The limit gauge has passing and non-passing sides (upper and lower deviation of the nominal size), which allows you to control the size in the tolerance field. Limit gauges are used to measure cylindrical, conical, threaded and splined surfaces. When designing limit gauges, the Taylor principle must be followed, according to which the pass gauge is the prototype of the mating part and controls the size along the entire length of the joint taking into account shape errors. The impassable gauge should control only the actual size of the part and therefore has a small length to eliminate the effect of shape errors.

Conclusion

During the course project, the technological process of manufacturing the Bushing part was developed. During the development of the technological process, process charts, methods of designing technological equipment, typical technological processes, methods of calculating processing allowances were studied.

Also in the course project, the economic component was affected, namely: the economic feasibility of introducing the developed technology: the selection of a workpiece, the processing of a part, the cost of its manufacture.

In general, the course project incorporated most of the knowledge and skills we received in the theoretical course "Engineering Technology," which helped to consolidate them using a specific example.
