Summary

This note refers to a course project, the essence of which is the ability to process complete, truncated and repeatedly truncated information about failures of auto-tractor engines in analytical and graphical ways.

The explanatory note contains 15 printed pages, 3 tables and a graphic part consisting of a sheet of A1 format.

Introduction

As the development of machines increases under the influence of loads and the environment, the shapes of the working surfaces are distorted and the dimensions of the parts change; increasing clearances in movable connections and reducing interference in fixed connections; the relative arrangement of the parts is disturbed, which leads to disruption of the gearing; the occurrence of additional loads and vibrations; reduced elastic and elastic properties, magnetization; deposits and scale are deposited; fatigue and corrosion damage, etc. As a result of the listed processes, individual parts and connections under various operating conditions lose their operability.

Thanks to such a science as "Reliability," it is possible to determine the cause of the violation by the method of maintaining and restoring operability and improving the reliability of machines and equipment.

Based on analytical and graphical methods of processing complete, truncated and repeatedly truncated information, it is possible to identify design and technological shortcomings of objects that lead to a decrease in their reliability; studying the patterns of faults and failures; correcting the regulated reliability parameters and determining the required number of spare parts for a certain period of development of the object.
