Description
The Gear Wheel part is widely used in mechanical engineering, for transmitting torque from one shaft to another, changing the shaft speed. Gear wheels shall ensure smooth operation, constant transmission motion and forces, no slippage. This is achieved due to high processing accuracy. Gear wheels work in conditions of torsion, bending, wear. Part belongs to class of bodies of rotation of "gear wheel" type, is formed by external and internal surfaces of bodies of rotation, has toothed rim, on cylindrical external surface key-slot. The gear wheel is a two-stage rotation body 130 mm long. At the larger stage with a diameter of 160H12 mm, a toothed rim is cut (mn = 4 mm, Z = 38). Hole is made on smaller stage of wheel with diameter of 138h6 mm. The selection of the material for the gear wheel is influenced by performance criteria, manufacturing technology, and operating conditions. Toothed wheels are made of structural and alloyed steels, which have high strength, good workability, are subjected to heat treatment. The part "Gear wheel" is made of high-quality carbon structural steel 40X GOST 4543-2016. As teeths work in the conditions of the increased wear, for reduction of wear of a surface of a gear wreath are exposed to heat treatment by the currents of high frequency (CHF) with receiving HRCe52...56 on depth of h0,4...0,6. This steel is used for parts that require increased strength. It is recommended to make crankshafts, connecting rods, gear wheels, plungers, camshafts, ratchets, axles, couplings, etc. from 40X steel GOST 4543-2016.
