Introduction

Improvement, intensification and automation of technological processes lead to the need to improve the quality of consumable heat carriers. Natural gas meets these requirements most than other fuels.

The rational use of gaseous fuel makes it possible to obtain significant economic efficiency of aggregates and reduce fuel consumption. Easier control of temperature fields and composition of the gas medium in the working space of furnaces and plants makes it possible to significantly increase the intensity of production and the quality of the obtained products. The use of gas for industrial installations improves working conditions and increases its productivity. The use of natural gas in industry makes it possible to carry out fundamentally new, progressive and cost-effective technological processes. The use of gas as fuel makes it possible to significantly improve the living conditions of the population, increase the sanitary and hygienic level of production and improve the air pool in cities and industrial centers.

Reliability and safety of gas supply systems operation largely depends on correctness of design decisions and quality of construction and installation works.

The growth of gas consumption in cities, towns and rural areas, as well as the scale of distribution systems, pose new and difficult tasks for the gas engineer related to the development and reconstruction of systems, improving their reliability and the need for economical use of gas, protecting the air basin from pollution.

2. project assignment.

In the course design, it is required to design the gas supply system of the city of Tobolsk. To do this, you need to do:

Gas supply project (city district).

The project of the internal gas pipeline of a residential building.

Gas Control Point Project.

Quarterly gas pipeline project.

The graphic part of the course design consists in drawing up:

The general plan of the city district with the application of all designed gas pipelines (low and medium pressure) and the locations of all regulatory points concentrated by consumers.

The plan of the house with the location of the designed gas pipelines and the place of installation of gas devices.

1. Conclusion

During the course project, the gas supply system of the Tobolsk area was designed. During operation, the following gas pipeline diameters were installed.

a) low pressure network from DnxS 114x4 mm to 530x7 mm

b) medium pressure network from DnxS 159x4.5 mm to 720x8 mm

c) internal house gas pipeline from Du 20 mm to Du 30 mm.

Pressure regulators of RDG50N type and gas hair filter with cast-iron housing 104300A are installed at the gas control station. In the premises of residential buildings there are gas four-burner slabs with an oven.

The adopted gas supply system will function properly, as the results of the calculations fully comply with the requirements of SNiP.
