Job to Run Project
It is necessary to design the intra-quarter low pressure network from the gas control station of the cabinet type. The task also provides for the development of a project for an internal gas supply system for a five-story residential building with the installation of a four-block gas stove and a flowing water heater in gasified apartments.
Introduction
The share of natural gas in the fuel balance of Russia is more than 60%. Since natural gas is a highly efficient energy carrier, in the context of an economic crisis, gasification can form the basis of the socio-economic development of the regions of Russia, ensure the improvement of working and living conditions of the population, as well as reduce environmental pollution.
Compared to other fuels, natural gas has the following advantages:
- low cost price;
- high heat of combustion, ensuring expediency of its transportation through main gas pipelines for considerable distances;
- complete combustion, facilitating the working conditions of personnel serving gas equipment and networks;
- the absence of carbon monoxide in its composition, which is especially important in case of gas leaks arising from the gas supply to municipal and domestic consumers;
- high heat performance (more than 2000 * С);
- possibility of automation of combustion processes and achievement of high values of efficiency.
In addition, natural gas is a valuable raw material for the chemical industry.
The use of gas fuel makes it possible to introduce efficient methods of heat transfer, create economical and high-performance thermal units with smaller dimensions, cost and high efficiency, as well as improve product quality.
Naturally, with the large scale of the introduction of gas fuel in various sectors of the national economy, new personnel of specialists are constantly involved in the design, construction and operation of gas facilities. However, the advantages of gas fuel can be rationally and safely used only by specialists who have learned the basics of system design and strictly comply with safety rules in the gas industry.
Course work is carried out in order to acquire practical skills in the design of gas distribution systems, familiarize with standard design solutions, and train students in working with technical and reference literature. The work provides for the most advanced technical solutions that ensure the rational use of gas fuel.
