Description

The fixture clamping members serve to secure the blank in the fixture. Carry clips, holding straps, clips of various designs to them. The clamps typically consist of a clamp itself and a clamp drive. The clamp itself (the element contacting the workpiece) is made in the form of a pressure screw (with or without a heel), a grip, a cam (in cartridges), a collet, etc. The collars are made in the form of straight, V-shaped, stepped, swinging, folding, removable and the like strips. Generally, the grip acts as a lever that enhances or weakens the clamping force on the workpiece.
