Introduction

This work presents the design of the thermal section under the conditions of the KLMZ plant.

Heat treatment is an integral part of the plant-wide manufacturing process. In the manufacture of complex products, thermal treatment is repeatedly used, combining it with processes of complex industries and most often with shaping in the form of complex technological combined processes.

As practice shows, thermal production has proved very susceptible to the emergence of new energy sources, new media and new materials. Characteristic directions in the development of modern technological processes of thermal treatment are:

Use for heat treatment of residual heat of previous treatments and alterations.

Inheritance during thermal treatment of hardening from previous treatments.

Application of processes that reduce the duration of processes.

Use of additional treatments that increase their corrosion and operational resistance.

Application of neutral and controlled atmospheres, vacuum.

1.1 Project justification

The KLMZ plant is located in an open area, the climate is sharp continental, the duration of the period with snow cover is about five months, the average annual temperature difference ranges from 25 to + 25 ° C. Taking into account all these climatic conditions of the terrain, we conclude that the building in which the designed thermal section will be located should be one-story, with a full frame with vertically supporting structures. The shank part manufacturing shop includes a thermal section for carrying out strengthening heat treatment, which consists in cementation, hardening and tempering.
