Description
Ejector - jet pump for liquid, gas or steam. Steam from the first boiler is supplied to branch pipe 3 and nozzle 4. When leaving the nozzle 4 at high speed, steam enters the mixing chamber of the housing 1 and creates a vacuum in it, which causes the liquid to enter the chamber through the upper branch pipe of the housing 1. The vapor, entraining the liquid to be moved, rushes with it into the diffuser 2, where the mixture decreases its speed and increases the pressure, ensuring that the liquid is supplied as intended and that the vacuum in the mixing chamber is maintained.
