Operating conditions of the machine unit.

The designed machine unit serves as a drive to the stirrer and can be used in production lines, for the operation of which it is necessary to prepare technological solutions. Drive consists of electric motor whose shaft is connected through V-belt belt transmission to drive shaft of cylindrical helical reduction gear with vertical arrangement of shafts. Driven shaft of reduction gear is connected through elastic coupling with torus-shaped shell to shaft of mixer. The designed drive operates in 1 shift in reverse mode. The nature of the load is with small fluctuations.

Select Connections

In the designed gear box, key connections are used to connect the shafts to the torque transmitting parts.

We use prismatic keys with rounded ends as per GOST 2336078. The length of the key is assumed to be 5... 10 mm less than the length of the hub of the part to be fitted. Landing for helical wheel H7/r6.

Design of bearing assemblies

The designed gearbox uses grease of bearing units. To isolate the bearing assembly from the inner cavity of the reduction gear box, steel sealing washers with a thickness of 0.3... 0.5 mm are used, and insulation of the output sections of the shafts from the environment is achieved using cuff seals according to GOST 875279. Inner ring of bearing rests against sealing washer, and outer ring is fixed by spacer bushing between bearing and cutting-in cover of bearing.
