Description
The detail is mounted on a prism installed on the body and is clamped by clamps secured to the body with pins. The clamps are actuated by a pneumatic cylinder which operates as follows: upon turning the distributor valve to the working position, a cavity is opened for the supply of compressed air, which enters the rod chamber. Under the pressure of the compressed air, the rod with the disk moves. A cone is fixed on the rod with pins, and bushings are installed in the body through which pushers with rollers fixed on them move, allowing the rollers to move along the cone. Thus, as the rod and the cone move, the distance between the pushers increases, pressing against the supports secured to the clamps, causing the workpiece to be clamped. The clamps return to their original position under the action of a spring.
