Introduction

The purpose of the course design is to develop the technological process of assembling the front wheel hub article and the technological process of manufacturing the housing part.

The main objective of the course project is to acquire skills in the application of theoretical knowledge obtained from the study of various disciplines in the development of the technological process for the manufacture of the unit and part, using the necessary reference, technical literature and guidance materials.

1.1 Service purpose of the node and principle of its operation

Front wheel hub (hereinafter referred to as hub) is intended for installation and attachment of wheel disk on it.

The principle of the unit operation is as follows: the hub is installed on the axle of a product, a wheel disk with a tire is attached to the hub. When moving the article, the wheel and hub body rotate on bearings, and the hub shaft remains stationary.

The actuating surfaces of the unit are 6 holes Ø18 mm in the flange, through which the wheel disk is attached to the hub by bolts and the surface of the shaft Ø65, along which the hub is installed on the axle.
