Description

The design describes the characteristics of the article and the material of the welded structure, an analysis of the processability of the article was carried out.

The welding modes were calculated, the cost-effectiveness of the designed process was calculated, the selection of welding materials and equipment for welding was justified.

Description is given of the process of assembly and welding of the collector, and tooling with justification of selection of main and auxiliary mechanisms of the structure.

Safety issues of welding processes are considered.

Introduction

One of the most important and most effective areas of technological progress is integrated mechanization and automation of production processes, in particular welding processes. The achieved high level of development of welding equipment serves as a solid basis for a significant further increase in labor productivity, saving materials and energy in the national economy, as well as improving the quality and reducing the cost of the welded structure.

The constant increase in the volume of production and the expansion of the field of application of welded structures are associated with the development and introduction into production of progressive types of welding, high-quality welding materials, high-performance machines, equipment and technical equipment, integrated mechanization, automation and robotization of production processes.

Complex mechanization and automation of the manufacturing process of welded products is one of the main tasks of welding production, the solution of which dramatically increases the productivity of work.
