Introduction
The course project is the final stage of the study of the discipline "Cars" and is carried out by students according to the curriculum of the specialty "Cars and automotive economy" after the development of general scientific and engineering disciplines. Such a sequence of disciplines and accumulated knowledge baggage allows during the project work to critically evaluate the designs of prototypes, their components, units and systems, to apply modern methods of calculations for strength and durability, to creatively approach the justification of technical solutions, to skillfully use computing equipment.
Road transport is the most important branch of the national economy. Along with other modes of transport, it ensures the normal production and circulation of products in industry and agriculture, the needs of capital construction, meets the needs of the population in transportation.
Road transport carries more than 3/4 (about 80%) of all cargo. The main advantages of road transport: less investment in the organization of transport, greater maneuverability of vehicles and the possibility of transportation directly from the point of departure to the destination without additional transshipments, high speed of delivery of goods and passengers, relatively low cost of transportation.
At the same time, it should be borne in mind that road transport is the most labor-intensive and phonodomous mode of transport, and the costs of maintaining vehicles in the national economy exceed the costs for all other modes of transport combined.
The main objectives of the course project are to analyze the layout schemes of the car, traction calculation, determine the estimated parameters of traction and speed properties, and determine the estimated parameters of fuel economy.
Development of brake management of the car is considered a specific objective of the academic year project.
Conclusion
In the course design, a traction calculation was made, the estimated parameters of traction properties, fuel economy were determined, and the brake control of a dump truck with a wheel formula (6x4) was analyzed and calculated.
As a result of the traction calculation, it was determined that the designed car should be equipped with a calculated engine that has a power of 131.6 kW at 2600 min-1 and a torque of 580Nm at 1600 min; gear ratio of the main gear u0 = 5.22, the first gear uk1 = 7.77, the second uk2 = 4.65, the third uk3 = 2.78, the fourth uk4 = 1.67, the fifth uk5 = 1.0.
As a result of determining the estimated parameters of traction speed properties, the maximum speed was 80 km/. The maximum acceleration is 0.47 m/s2 in the first gear, the minimum 0.029 m/s2 in the fifth; maximum tractive force is 38849 N, minimum 4154 N; maximum dynamic factor was 0.205, minimum 0.08.
As a result of calculating the fuel and economic characteristic, the maximum traction power of the designed car at each transmission is 17.7 kW.
Maximum fuel consumption is 35.6 litres/100 km and minimum 20.4 litres/100 km.
In the final section of the course project "Braking control," the already existing versions of braking mechanisms and drives were considered, as a result of the analysis, a drum braking mechanism with equal movement of the shoes and a pneumatic control drive were selected.
