Description
Dead-end stops used for bridge cranes are of two types: unstressed; percussion. Impact-free dead ends can be gravitational and friction-gravitational. Shock dead ends, depending on the design of the buffer, can be: hydraulic; wooden; spring-friction; rubber; spring; combined. The type and design of the dead end stop is selected depending on the type and lifting capacity of the bridge crane. Dead-end stops are integral elements of the bridge crane, since they provide suppression of its residual speed and prevent the descent of the end sections of the crane track in emergency situations. When selecting a dead end stop, it is necessary to be guided by the brand and structure of the bridge crane, as well as take into account the main and additional loads on the crane structure during its operation.
