Introduction
The thermal calculation of the engine is used to determine the parameters of the working medium in the engine cylinder, as well as the estimated parameters of the working process, to evaluate power and economic indicators that allow assessing the power and fuel consumption.
The calculation method is based on the method of V.I. Grinevetsky, later improved by E.K. Mazing, N.R. Briling, B.S. Stechkin and others.
The task of dynamic calculation is to determine the forces acting in the mechanisms for converting the energy of the working medium into the mechanical work of the engine.
In the present work, thermal and dynamic calculations are performed for the rated power mode.
Dynamic calculation
The dynamic calculation of the crank mechanism is performed in order to determine the total forces and moments arising from the pressure of gases and from the forces of inertia. Dynamic calculation results are used in calculation of engine parts for strength and wear.
During each operating cycle, the forces acting in the crank mechanism continuously change in magnitude and direction. Therefore, for the nature of the change in the crankshaft rotation angle, their values are determined for a number of different shaft positions every 30 degrees. crankshaft turn.
Conclusion
As a result of the course work, the thermal and dynamic calculation of the D144 engine was carried out.
After performing the thermal calculation, they determined the parameters of the working medium in the engine cylinder, and also made process estimates that made it possible to determine the parameters of the engine and evaluate its power and economic indicators.
During the dynamic calculation, the forces acting on the crank gear mechanism were determined, as well as the torque developed by the engine.
