Introduction

The course project on machine parts is the first design work of the student, carried out on the basis of the knowledge of general education, general technical and generally special disciplines.

In this course design, it is necessary to develop a chain conveyor drive according to the given scheme. It includes electric motor connected by V-belt transmission to high-speed shaft of cylindrical single-stage reduction gear. Chain conveyor sprocket is arranged on low-speed shaft of reduction gear.

The drive is designed on the basis of the specification. It is necessary to develop a gearbox assembly drawing with specification, working drawings of the main parts of the gearbox, as well as to issue a calculation and explanatory note.

Conclusion

In this course design, a belt conveyor drive is designed, consisting of an electric motor connected by chain transmission to the high-speed shaft of a conical reduction gear. Compensating clutch connects high-speed gear shaft with electric motor. Kinematic calculation was made, engine was selected, conical gear was calculated, shafts, reduction gear box housing were designed, bearings were selected. Conical gear and keys were tested for strength.

The gearbox assembly drawing with the specification, as well as the working drawings of the main parts of the gearbox are made.
