Introduction

Different types of road transport rolling stock - single cars, saddle and trailed road trains are combined by the concept of "motor vehicles "/PBX/. Common to them are wheel propellers and support axles in various combinations. In this regard, the interaction of the PBX with the road and the environment is based on the same basic laws as for a single car .

The efficiency of PBX use in various operating conditions is determined by a complex of their potential operational properties - traction, braking, cross-country ability, fuel economy, stability and controllability, comfort and smoothness. These performance properties are influenced by the main parameters of the car and its components, primarily the engine, transmission and wheels, as well as the characteristics of the road and driving conditions.

The more perfect the design and the better its technical condition, the higher the performance. Therefore, the vehicle, its systems and mechanisms are designed so that it has certain operational properties required for the given operating conditions and ensures its most efficient use.

Calculation of clutch friction clutches

3.1 General Information

A clutch is a transmission mechanism that transmits the torque of the engine to the gearbox and allows you to briefly disconnect the engine from the transmission and reconnect them. It is a friction clutch that provides smooth touching of the car from the place, gear shifting and, in addition, protection of the transmission from dynamic overloads arising during movement.

The design of the clutch should provide a number of requirements: reliable transmission of torque from the engine to the transmission; full switching on and off; smoothness of actuation; minimum moment of inertia of the clutch driven part; balance of axial forces in the clutch on and off; normal thermal operation; consistency of friction moment; suppression of high-frequency oscillations caused by engine operation; easy and easy control.

3.2 Determination of friction clutch parameters

The parameters characterizing the structural dimensions of the clutch include two values - the outer and inner diameters of the friction linings D and d. Parameters characterizing friction properties of clutch include clutch margin factor, friction factor, pressure force of springs Pn; pressure on friction linings P0, number of driven PV discs, number and stiffness of pressure springs sp.

To determine the main parameters of the clutch, first of all, the value of the calculated clutch torque Ms is found, which for reliable operation should be greater than the maximum torque of the Me mach engine (the exception is semi-centrifugal clutches).

Conclusion

In the course work, issues were studied related to the operational properties that ensure the movement of the car and characterize its performance of transport and special work: transportation of passengers, cargo and equipment. These properties determined the adaptability of the car to operating conditions.

In each chapter of the course work, separate operational properties, its meters and indicators, the influence of structural and operational factors on this property are considered.
