Introduction
The level of development of engineering is one of the most significant factors of technological progress, since fundamental transformations in any field of production are possible only as a result of the creation of better machines and the development of fundamentally new technologies. The development and improvement of production technology today are closely related to automation, the creation of robotic complexes, the widespread use of computer technology, the use of equipment with numerical software control. All this forms the basis on which automated production is created, it becomes possible to optimize technological processes, create flexible automated complexes.
Increasing the specific gravity of mechanized and automated tools, production and their continuous improvement tightened the requirements for technological design and became the basis for creating rules and methods for developing technological processes. The transition to automated design systems unified all technological documentation.
The complex mechanization and automation of production processes, the re-equipment of machine-building enterprises with modern metal cutting machines, the typification and standardization of technological processes, the widespread introduction of computers led to a reassessment of existing design methods. Currently, process design is a comprehensive system of interaction of tools and methods that create high-quality technological documentation based on the wide application of standard technological solutions.
