On this page you can download drawings of shaped cutter. These cutters serve to process bodies of revolution that have shaped surfaces inside or outside. The workpiece usually uses calibrated rolled stock - a rod. Processing by these cutters is often carried out on automatic machines or turret machines in mass or large-scale production. The cutting scheme consists in the following: the workpiece rotates at high speed around its axis, while the cutter makes a feed movement.
